Wheat is one of the main grain crops on the mainland, and harvesting wheat and returning it to the warehouse is an important link in agricultural production. Just as the wheat was ripe, the volunteers came to the wheat field, smelled the smell of wheat, and truly experienced the joy of a bumper harvest.
On the day of the event, Director He Xiaohong, an agricultural technology expert, explained the knowledge of wheat planting, management and protection to the volunteers, demonstrated and emphasized the methods and precautions of wheat harvesting, and everyone completed the skills of wheat cutting, wheat transportation, and wheat screening under the guidance.
Subsequently, the volunteers carried empty bags and took a curved sickle to the ripe wheat, cut the wheat, transport the wheat, in an orderly manner, while helping to harvest the wheat, the volunteers also preached to the masses the laws and regulations related to the ban on straw burning, and enhanced everyone's awareness of environmental protection.
Through this activity, the young volunteers fully experienced the hard work of the grain growers, further learned about the growth of local crops and the income of the villagers, let the volunteers go deep into the rural life, let the farmers feel the warmth in the intimate service, and add color and vitality to the revitalization of the countryside!
