May 18, 2024 is the 48th International Museum Day, and the International Council of Museums (ICOM) has decided that this year's theme is "Museums Committed to Education and Research". It will focus on the latest achievements in the development of museums in mainland China, and further build a bridge between museums and the public. Museums are important carriers for protecting, inheriting and displaying Chinese civilization. In order to further promote the excellent traditional Chinese culture and transform the rich museum resources into school education and teaching resources, the Luanping County Museum cooperated with the No. 3 Primary School of Luanping County and Changshanyu Central Primary School on May 11 and 14 respectively, and organized the activity of "Mobile Museum into Campus", starting a wonderful journey of research and exploration, and appreciating the infinite mysteries behind history.
The activities were carried out in the form of "mobile display board publicity" and "cultural and museum knowledge into the classroom". Through appreciating and learning beautiful pictures and text introductions, I have a deeper understanding of the intangible cultural heritage culture of my hometown.
The narrator showed the students the exploration of the origin of the Rong people, the decisive battle between the Rong and the Western Zhou Dynasty, the battle between the Shanrong and the Yan, the battle of the Qi coalition army, and the extinction and archaeological discoveries of the Rong people in the form of PPT pictures, so that the students could have a clearer understanding of the history of the Shanrong culture, have a deeper understanding of the inheritance of the traditional culture of the Chinese nation, and have a new awareness of the protection of cultural heritage.
"Cultural and Museum Classroom" is an innovative education model that integrates knowledge popularization, cultural inheritance and interactive experience, aiming to break through the limitations of traditional museum visits and bring rich cultural and museum resources into a wider educational scene. Through carefully planned course content, combined with multimedia displays, interactive Q&A and hands-on production, the "Cultural Museum Classroom" of Luanping County Museum allows students to fully perceive the charm of cultural relics in the process of listening, watching, thinking and acting. It promotes the organic combination of museum and school education, improves the core literacy of students, and lays the foundation for cultivating students' all-round development.
