This year marks the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China and the 105th anniversary of the May Fourth Movement. In order to thoroughly study and implement Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era and General Secretary Xi Jinping's important thoughts on youth work, and inherit and carry forward the spirit of May Fourth, recently, the Youth League Branch of the Foreign Affairs Office of Shuozhou City, Shanxi Province, and the Youth League of Longnan City, Jiangxi Province, organized a series of activities to commemorate the 105th anniversary of the May Fourth Movement, encouraging and guiding the majority of young people to actively participate in the construction of a strong country and the great cause of national rejuvenation.
Shuozhou City, Shanxi Province
From May 7th to 9th, the Youth League Branch of the Shuozhou Foreign Affairs Office organized young cadres to focus on studying the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's May Fourth Youth Day message to the vast number of young people across the country, watch short historical films of the May Fourth Movement, gain an in-depth understanding of the historical background and spiritual connotation of the May Fourth Movement, stimulate patriotic enthusiasm and social responsibility, and guide young cadres to inherit and carry forward the spirit of May Fourth, firmly believe in the party's innovative theories, and unswervingly listen to the party's words and follow the party.
The young cadres walked into the Saibei Martyrs Memorial Hall, and under the guidance of the commentator, they listened carefully to the stories of the struggle of the revolutionary predecessors who bravely resisted Japan and the heroic deeds that can be sung and cried, and strengthened their belief in not forgetting the red history, inheriting the legacy of the martyrs, planting a solid foundation of faith, and taking responsibility based on their posts.
In Fenghui Park, young cadres carry forward the spirit of not being afraid of dirt and tiredness, holding garbage bags and tongs, comprehensively cleaning up plastic bags, packaging boxes, beverage bottles, waste paper and other garbage in the grass, publicizing the knowledge of civilization creation to the masses along the way, and guiding everyone to actively participate in co-construction, co-governance and sharing of beautiful homes.

On May 6, the cadres of the Longnan City Urban Community Cultural Community Organization Group walked into the No. 2 Middle School of Longnan City to carry out the theme propaganda activity of "inheriting the spirit of May Fourth and promoting the demeanor of youth". The cadres of the Youth League told the new student members about the historical significance of the May Fourth Movement and the glorious deeds of outstanding young models in the new era, and called on everyone to keep up with and learn from the advanced.
With the theme of "inheriting the spirit of May Fourth and gathering the power of youth", the Youth League Branch of the First People's Hospital of Longnan City carried out a series of activities on the May Fourth Youth Day. The members reviewed the oath of joining the league under the solemn banner of the league, and Chen Cheng, secretary of the league branch, gave a May Fourth theme class to everyone, which stimulated the patriotic feelings and youthful vitality of young medical workers.
The General Branch of the Youth League of the Wu Junior High School in Longnan City organized a series of themed activities such as "Inheriting the Spirit of May Fourth and Building Youth Dreams Together", watching red movies, and telling red stories, so that students can have a deeper understanding and learning of the spiritual connotation of the May Fourth Movement and the history of the founding of the Communist Youth League.
The general branch of the Youth League of Yangcun Junior High School in Longnan City organized some youth league members to visit and study in Taiping Ancient Town, the red base of Yangcun, and feel the spirit of the revolutionary ancestors throwing their heads and spilling their blood.
