On the afternoon of May 8, 2024, Tang Dehai, a member of the "Great Ideological and Political" Propaganda Group of the Nanjing Municipal Customs Working Committee and the executive deputy director of the Jianye District Education Customs Working Committee, visited the Leshan Road Branch of Nanjing Zhiyuan Foreign Chinese Primary School and brought a theme lecture entitled "Space Station Dreams in the Sky 'China Red' Shines in Space" to the students. The moving story of realizing the dream of China's space station moved the teachers and students.
At the beginning of the lecture, Director Tang used a touching video to let the children know that from drawing dreams in blueprints to struggling to realize dreams, it took Chinese astronauts 30 years to build a self-built and independently operated Chinese space station. This marks that the mainland has added another milestone in the journey of building a space power and climbing the peak of science and technology", and has written a magnificent chapter in the vast universe of using the aerospace dream to hold up the Chinese dream. The students burst into applause, and their hearts swelled with endless pride.
Then, Director Tang explained to the students the "three-step strategy of manned space project", an innovative strategy with Chinese characteristics and highlighting China's wisdom. From the Long March-1 carrier rocket in 1970 when the mainland's first artificial earth satellite "Dongfanghong 1" was sent into space, to the first five-star red flag raised by Uncle Zhai Zhigang in space in 2008, and then to the launch of the last large-scale module of China's space station in 2022, the Mengtian experimental module, all of them made the students feel the self-improvement of mainland astronauts.
Subsequently, Director Tang told the story of the "return of the Long March 5B rocket" to convey to the children the spirit of mainland astronauts respecting science and pursuing the ultimate. Director Tang earnestly told the children that as Young Pioneers, we should learn and practice this spirit, start from little things, take every class seriously, do every question well, and strive to do things well at one time, so as to be a good teenager who strives for perfection.
The journey is long, but there is only struggle. A great era will be more magnificent because of the heroic feats, and it will also become warm and touching because of the struggle stories of countless ordinary people. Director Tang played a video collection of astronaut crews training on the ground, and also told the story of aerospace heroes Yang Liwei and Zhai Zhigang overcoming difficulties and raising the five-star red flag in space, and the students were deeply shocked and moved. This bright and dazzling Chinese red in space has left a deep imprint in the hearts of the students.
As the atmosphere became more and more enthusiastic, the children listened more and more seriously. Director Tang showed the children the most critical part of the entire space station - the moment of the successful launch of the Tianhe core module, and the children were excited and proud, and at the same time, they also realized more deeply that in the huge system of manned spaceflight, only when everyone takes one-ten-thousandth of the contribution as 100% responsibility, every post is "normal", and every operation is "understood", can the entire major country operate normally without problems.
Director Tang shared with the students the stories behind the space teaching of the Wentian experimental module and the successful docking of the Mengtian experimental module with the Tianhe core module, which deeply attracted the children. After listening to today's lecture, everyone deeply felt the difficulty of realizing the dream of the space station, and began to have their own cognition and thinking about the spirit of manned spaceflight in their little heads.
