The next day, the grandmother was furious when she found out, and ordered someone to tie her up again, Zheng Yuxiu was tough and rigid, and directly forced her to die, and after some tossing, the grandmother obeyed her wishes.
At the age of 13, her father found a family affair for her, and the man was the son of Zeng Chunxuan, the governor of Liangguang, and the elders sat together and decided to complete the marriage when Zheng Yuxiu was sixteen years old.
After Zheng's father returned home, he informed his daughter of the matter, the words of the parents' matchmaker, the customs of thousands of years, the father took it for granted, but Zheng Yuxiu was angry, she who had received a new ideological education knew that this kind of arranged marriage was wrong, as a free person, she had the right to decide who she married with, and no one had the right to interfere!

Not long after, the League organized death squads against some Qing court officials who opposed Sun Yat-sen and launched assassination operations, and Zheng Yuxiu took the initiative to sign up to participate.
Assassination
In view of the convenience of her identity, her superiors quickly agreed, and sure enough, a lot of the ammunition needed for the assassination was successfully transported to its destination through her hands.
In 1910, the task of stabbing Zaifeng was issued, and his teammates urgently needed a batch of explosives to be transported from Tianjin to Beijing, and the Zheng family's industry spread all over the country.
At most, Zheng Yuxiu helped transport 136 catties of explosives, which brought great convenience to his comrades-in-arms. Her superiors also paid more attention to her, and many important tasks were entrusted to her to complete.
On New Year's Day in 1912, Sun Yat-sen announced his inauguration as the provisional president of the Republic of China, and Yuan Shikai's intention to steal the fruits of the revolution was also revealed.
On January 16 of the same year, Yuan Shikai took a carriage home, and when passing a teahouse in Donghuamen, Beijing, three bombs were thrown near the carriage, followed by several loud noises, and the soldiers next to the carriage were blown up to the sky on the spot.
Unfortunately, the bomb was thrown off the rails and failed to cause damage to Yuan Shikai, but instead exposed the assassination members, and Zheng Yuxiu, who was in chaos, saw this scene and decisively pulled out his gun and shot it into the air, attracting the attention of the other party and helping others escape, while pointing the gun at Yuan Shikai, ready to kill him with one blow.
But she had no professional training, and there happened to be a problem with the pistol, which hurt her hand, and in desperation, the operation was canceled.
In the later review, it was found that ten companions had been arrested, Zheng Yuxiu once again used a strong network to find a French reporter and ask the other party to intercede and let go of his companions, Yuan Shikai did give the other party a face, and let the other party fool the past seven people, and the remaining three belonged to the actual shooters, and in the end they were not rescued, and they were brutally killed by Yuan!
Ten days later, another assassination attempt was launched, targeting Aisin Jueluo Liangbi, a prominent minister in the late Qing Dynasty and leader of the Zongshe Party, who strongly opposed the emperor's abdication and intended to preserve the ruling position of the Qing dynasty, which was contrary to the anti-imperialist and anti-feudal purpose of the League, and finally decided to assassinate him.
Learning from the lessons of the last time, this time can only succeed and not fail, Zheng Yuxiu decided to send someone to kill Liangbi at close range, it is obvious that this candidate must have the courage to die together, Peng Jiazhen recommended himself.
Zheng Yuxiu hesitated, Peng Jiazhen is not only a member of the Beijing-Tianjin-Bao branch of the League, but also her brother-in-law, and her sister is about to get married.
On January 26th, Peng Jiazhen disguised himself as a Qing Dynasty official and went to Liangbi's mansion, saying that he wanted to meet Liangbi in person because of important matters, but he didn't expect the other party to be at home, he wanted to return in vain, and arrived at the gate, Liangbi just got off the carriage and went home, Peng Jiazhen stepped forward decisively, after the huge bombardment, Peng Jiazhen died on the spot, Liangbi's left leg was blown off, and he died two days after treatment. I die, and the Qing Dynasty dies!
The mission was successful, but Zheng Yuxiu was exposed, and after Yuan Shikai's investigation, she was determined to be the mastermind behind the scenes, and then launched a counter-assassination operation against Zheng Yuxiu.
Go abroad

After returning to China, she opened a law firm in Shanghai, the first female lawyer in China, and later participated in the formulation of marriage laws, including equal inheritance rights between men and women, the abolition of arranged marriages, and the right of married women not to take their husband's surname, to keep their own surname, etc.
The miserable second half of his life
It's a pity that when her career reached its peak, Zheng Yuxiu failed to keep her heart, did a lot of power-for-money transactions, corruption, and eventually caused public anger.
In 1932, Zheng Yuxiu was exposed to embezzlement of more than 20,000 yuan, and then fled to Europe for refuge, in 1948, settled in the United States, six years later, due to cancer, the left arm was forced to be cut off, and no longer returned to the past elegance, in December 1959, Zheng Yuxiu died of illness in Los Angeles.
