Compared with March, there were two fewer models, and in March, there were seven models with sales of more than 10,000 units, namely Mercedes-Benz C-Class, Passat, Tesla Model 3, BMW 3 Series, Magotan, Hongqi H5 and Audi A4L. Compared to March, the top 10 models on the April list have changed significantly. Among them, the Mercedes-Benz C-Class dropped from the top position to 5th place, while the Tesla Model 3 jumped from 3rd to 12th.
In particular, Tesla's Model 3 sales in April were 5,065 units, down 65.02% month-on-month. For comparison, Tesla's Model 3 sold 14,481 units in March. But in fact, on April 21, Tesla China officially lowered the sales prices of the Model 3, Model Y, Model S and Model X. Among them, the Model 3 fell to 231,900 yuan, a decrease of 14,000 yuan, but the price reduction did not bring Tesla sales growth, data show that Tesla's sales in China in April were 31,421 units, a year-on-year decrease of 21.4%.

Returning to the independent brand, Hongqi H5 sold 9,785 units in April, ranking 6th on the list, ranking relatively high, the current price of the car is between 159,800-225,800, and the price is relatively close to the people, standing out among the medium-sized independent sedans. In addition, another Hongqi product on the list, Hongqi E-QM5, is also in the top 10 on the list, with sales of 6,493 units, and the current price of Hongqi E-QM5 is 165,800-239,800 yuan. BYD's Seal DM-i is also on the list with 5071 sales, and the current price of the Seal DM-i is between 149,800 and 219,800 yuan.
