The QS World University Rankings is an annual world university ranking published by Quacquarelli Symonds (QS), an international education market consulting company in the United Kingdom. First published in 2004, it is a relatively early global university ranking.
In 2010, the QS World University Rankings was recognized by the "IREG - International Association for Academic Ranking and Excellence" established by the International Expert Group on University Rankings (IREG), and is one of the most participating institutions and the most influential ranking in the world.

10. University of California, Berkeley
The University of California, Berkeley, located in Berkeley, California, USA, is a public research university known as the "Public Ivy". So far, UC Berkeley has produced 110 Nobel laureates, the third highest number in the world.
9. University College London
University College London, founded in London, England in 1826, is a public research university.
