On May 10, the joint meeting of the Jiaocheng District Comprehensive Protection Alliance for Minors was held in the Jiaocheng District People's Procuratorate, with representatives of 15 units, including the Political and Legal Committee of the District Party Committee, the Propaganda Department of the District Party Committee, the District Court, the Jiaocheng Public Security Bureau, the Bureau of Justice, and the Education Bureau, as well as representatives of townships (streets) attending the meeting, and Liu Guiwu, executive deputy secretary of the Political and Legal Committee of the District Party Committee and deputy head of the District Alliance for the Comprehensive Protection of Minors, attended the meeting and delivered a speech.
The meeting conveyed and learned the relevant content of the "Working Mechanism of the Jiaocheng District Comprehensive Protection Alliance for Minors". The District Procuratorate, Jiaocheng Public Security Bureau, District Education Bureau, Youth League District Committee, District Women's Federation, District Health Bureau, District Civil Affairs Bureau, and other units have summarized and exchanged views on the development of efforts to protect minors since 2023, sorting out the difficulties and blockages in the work, actively exploring solutions and long-term mechanisms, and jointly providing all-round and multi-level protection and services for minors.
The meeting demanded, first, to improve the political position and deepen the ideological understanding. It is necessary to fully understand the importance of doing a good job of efforts on the protection of minors, comprehensively deploy and implement efforts on the protection of minors, and form a work pattern in which all departments work together and society broadly participates. Second, we must clarify work responsibilities and implement precise and comprehensive policies. Based on their respective duties, each member unit should conscientiously refer to the "Law on the Protection of Minors", the "Law on the Prevention of Juvenile Delinquency" and other laws and regulations, as well as the relevant deployment requirements of the higher levels, to find the right point of exertion, and grasp the key points of efforts on the comprehensive protection of minors. Third, we must strengthen the linkage of departments and unite the work force. The division of responsibilities should be further clarified, taking the initiative to take responsibility, closely coordinating and cooperating, giving full play to the advantages of functions, professions, and resources, forming working mechanisms for work information sharing and joint efforts, and making every effort to promote efforts on the social protection of minors to a new level.
In the next stage, the Jiaocheng District People's Procuratorate will conscientiously implement the relevant work responsibilities of the "Jiaocheng District Comprehensive Protection Alliance for the Protection of Minors", earnestly assume the work functions of the Office of the Uninsured Alliance, strengthen comprehensive coordination, establish a communication and consultation mechanism with all member units, strengthen supervision and feedback, ensure that all deployment requirements are in place, and promote the high-quality development of uninsured work.
