Huimin District Sanitation-BEWG centralized investigation and cleaning of rainwater grates

Although the rainwater grate on the side of the road is inconspicuous, it is an important part of the urban road drainage system, and the garbage thrown into it, the swill poured into it at will, and the leaves that fall inside, the long-term precipitation and accumulation will cause serious blockage, which not only damages the urban road environment, but also causes water on the road in the rainy season, affecting the safe travel of citizens.

In the past few days, Beijing Enterprises City Service (Hohhot Huimin District) Co., Ltd. has dispatched more than 268 staff members and more than 166 vehicles to investigate and clean up about 2,380 rainwater grates on Genghis Khan West Street, Hugang East Road, Qingkai Street, Xianfu Street, Ordos West Street, Xinhua West Street, Guangming West Street, Bayan Shugui Street and other roads, and cleaned up about 3.8 tons of garbage in total, ensuring that each rainwater grate is free of debris, garbage and blockage.
