I spent 580 yuan to buy a box of weight loss capsules, and after buying it and eating it for 3 days, I felt flustered, unwell, and didn't want to eat or sleep, so I felt that this product was not quite right, and it felt bad.
The police conducted a food safety test on the capsules provided by Wu, and found that they contained "sibutramine", which is prohibited by the state, which is a toxic and harmful non-food raw material, and immediately set up a special team to file a case for investigation. According to the clues, the police investigated the source, sales and other channels of harmful weight loss capsules, and found that this was a case of selling toxic and harmful food across provinces. After nearly half a year of investigation, the people's police went to six provinces, including Guangdong, Fujian, Gansu, and Hebei, to arrest criminal suspects. In March this year, with the arrest of the last suspect in this case in Handan, Hebei Province, so far, all the suspects in this case of producing and selling toxic and harmful food have been arrested.
Zhu Dehong, the third-level sergeant of the Public Security Management Brigade of the Tunxi Branch of the Huangshan City Public Security Bureau: 8 criminal suspects have been arrested, two production dens have been destroyed, and more than 50,000 toxic and harmful weight loss capsules and candies have been seized, with a cumulative sales amount of more than 10 million yuan.
According to reports, "sibutramine" is a central nervous system inhibitory drug, its role is to inhibit the appetite center, so that the fullness of the stomach is enhanced, appetite decreases, long-term use will appear dry mouth, insomnia, increased heart rate, limb twitching and other adverse reactions, serious will lead to arrhythmia, and even myocardial infarction. As early as 2010, Mainland officially issued a notice to stop the production and sale of "sibutramine" preparations and APIs.
Police tips: Don't believe the weight loss "miracle drug" sold on the Internet, if you find that there is a problem with the weight loss product you buy, you can report it to the public security organ in time.
