Disclaimer: This tutorial is only for PS color adjustment, not for cute pets~
Some time ago, I learned a lot, many cutout tutorials, and to be honest, Xiaobai also felt that optical cutout was too monotonous.
Today, let's talk about how to use PS to adjust the color of a certain part of the picture.
The body begins
Before you start, you need to find a picture, cute puppy, and decide it's you!
After importing it into PS, we will start with our PS tutorial today.
Today's tutorial is very simple: change the color of the puppy, not necessarily green ha~
Grades that act directly on the current layer
I believe my friends have discovered that there are various adjustment options in the [Image] - [Adjustment] on the toolbar, because we want to adjust the color, so select [Hue/Saturation]
Then drag the slider of [Hue] directly, and the image will change color directly.
The discoloration here is the entire layer, let's click [OK] here, you will find that the whole picture is discolored, if there are more adjustment steps at this time, the discoloration of the picture will be irreversible.
These are all the options in [Image] - [Adjustment], and the parameters that are adjusted are basically applied to the layer.
Create a new adjustment layer
Careful friends will find that we also have a [Hue/Saturation] option in [Layer] - [New Adjustment Layer] on the toolbar
When clicked, a Hue/Saturation 1 layer will appear on the Layer Control Panel
Let's double-click the first icon of the [Hue/Saturation 1] layer of the [Layer Panel], and the parameter panel of the corresponding layer will pop up
At this time, drag the slider, and the puppy will also change color.
But pay attention! The color change here means that all the layers under the [Hue/Saturation 1] layer will change color, if you don't believe it, try creating a new layer under the adjustment layer
Then use a brush other than white and black to draw something casually
You will find that I obviously chose a [rose] brush, and the painting is actually [orange].
Oh no, I understand it in an instant! The color adjustment layer is based on it and works on the following layers.
How do I make an adjustment layer only work on the next layer?
At this time, the operation of making the adjustment layer only work on one layer is very simple, that is, press and hold [Alt] on the keyboard, and then move the mouse between the adjustment layer and the layer to be applied to (it must be an adjacent layer), and the icon of this turn appears, which means that the previous time it acted on the next layer.
Click the Left Mouse Button again, and you will find that the upper layer has an extra curved arrow, indicating that Hue/Saturation 1 only works on Layer 1
How do I adjust the color precisely?
After playing with the Hue function, I found that if you drag the [Hue] slider directly, the whole picture will have different degrees of discoloration.
How do you change just one color?
This is very simple, it is to pre-set the color to be changed, for example, the puppy is yellow
Color change preset: select [Yellow] and then adjust [Hue]
--End--
The whole process of learning today is actually to know the difference between directly adjusting the parameters of the corresponding layer and creating an adjustment layer to adjust the parameters of the corresponding layer.
There are also adjustment layers that act on the corresponding layer.
This operation is very commonly used on PS~
