Today, I would like to bring you a well-designed case study – a 126-square-metre American-style four-bedroom home. This house is not only compact and reasonable, but also puts a lot of effort into practicality. The designer skillfully uses delicate and elegant soft decoration elements to create a simple and American style home space. Once inside, you will immediately feel the relaxed and comfortable living atmosphere, as if time has become slow and quiet at this moment.
Floor plan
Although the entrance corridor is narrow, the designer cleverly uses the space inside the wall to create a built-in shoe cabinet to achieve efficient use of space. On the other side of the shoe cabinet, a stool is cleverly reserved for changing shoes, which is convenient for daily shoe changing. The bottom and middle part of the shoe cabinet are designed to be empty, which not only improves the convenience of use, but also makes the overall space more transparent and comfortable.
After passing through the entrance, you will enter the spacious living and dining area. In order to create a stronger sense of unity, the designers designed the ceiling in a consistent style with the floor. The TV background wall is cleverly decorated with marble and plaster line frames, showing an elegant and luxurious style, and the whole space is full of "tall" temperament.
The background wall of the sofa is subtly integrated with classic elements of modern American style, with simple plaster line decorative lines and delicate paintings, beige fabric sofas and blue chairs, and rugs and curtains in the same color, the whole space exudes an elegant and sophisticated atmosphere.
The focal point of the restaurant's design is the backdrop wall, which is decorated with mirrors and layered with a unique diamond shape. With a minimalist dining table and chairs, the overall space exudes a strong modern style, which is eye-catching.
Despite the limited size of the kitchen, the U-shaped cabinet layout is cleverly adopted to maximise the use of space. The combination of grey floor tiles and white cabinets creates a simple yet comfortable cooking environment, making people feel calm and harmonious during the busy cooking process.
In the master bedroom, gray wallcoverings are carefully selected for the bedside background wall, and the wall coverings, bedding and curtains are all integrated with delicate patterns, adding a strong American style to the space. The window position cleverly replaces the traditional bedside table with a dresser, which is not only practical, but also adds a touch of elegance and convenience.
The background wall of the bedside of the children's room is also decorated with wall cloth, and in the selection of soft furnishings and furniture, more attention is paid to cute and cartoon elements, aiming to create a dream space full of childlike fun and in line with children's preferences.
The design of the elderly room pursues simplicity and tranquility, with a cleverly siding wall panel as a backrest at the head of the bed, and a simple and elegant color matching to create a quiet and comfortable atmosphere. The floor-to-ceiling windows at the foot of the bed bring plenty of natural light into the room, making the elderly room more bright and spacious.
The bathrooms are designed to separate wet and dry, and the walls and floors are covered with marble tiles, which is elegant and functional. Sunlight pours in through the wide windows and delicate blinds, adding a dreamy touch of light and shadow to the bathroom, creating a warm and cozy atmosphere.
