The Guangzhou-Foshan South Ring Road starts from Foshan West Railway Station, passes through Zhangcha Station, Shunde North Station, Beijiao West Station, Chencun Station, and ends at the Intercity Panyu Station located in Guangzhou South Railway Station, with a total length of 35 kilometers.
"Four lines" through
After the Guangzhou-Foshan South Ring Road and Foguan Intercity are put into operation, it will realize the "four-line" operation with the Foshan-Zhaozhou and Dongguan-Huizhou intercity railways, connecting Zhaoqing, Foshan, Guangzhou, Dongguan and Huizhou five cities.
After the opening of the fourth line, with Panyu Station as the center, to the west for the Guangzhou-Zhaozhou intercity, to the east for the Guanghui intercity, the whole line has 39 stations, including 5 stations in Guangzhou, 9 stations in Foshan, 6 stations in Zhaoqing, 12 stations in Dongguan and 7 stations in Huizhou, and the maximum speed of the train is 200 kilometers.
On the recently updated Guangdong intercity network map, the Guangzhou-Foshan South Ring Road and the Fozhou-Zhaozhou intercity are collectively called the Guangzhou-Zhaozhou intercity, and the Foguan-Dongguan intercity and the Dongguan-Huizhou intercity are collectively called the Guanghui intercity. Guangzhao Intercity and Guanghui Intercity are connected and operated at the Intercity Panyu Station.
During the Guangzhou-Foshan South Ring Road and Foguan intercity operation test, the Guangdong Intercity Operation Company preliminarily calculated that after the four-line operation, it would achieve 30 minutes of mutual access from Guangzhou to Foshan and Dongguan centers, and 60 minutes to other cities, giving full play to the radiation and driving role of Guangzhou's core cities.

In terms of ticket purchase, Guangzhao and Guanghui Intercity will continue to use the "12306 + Intercity Railway Transit Diversified Payment" dual ticketing system of Guangqing and Guangzhou East Ring Intercity. Among them, the 12306 ticketing system is "valid once on the same day", and the intercity railway bus-based multi-payment ticketing system allows citizens to use a variety of payment methods such as the National Transportation Card, Lingnan Pass, Yangcheng Pass, Guangzhou Metro App Intercity Boarding Code and so on, and passengers will be as convenient as the subway to take the intercity railway. In other words, citizens do not need to buy tickets in advance when taking Guangzhao and Guanghui intercity, and the travel time will be more flexible.
Tomorrow (15th), the intercity railway bus multi-payment ticketing system will be launched on the Fozhao, Dongguan-Huizhou intercity railway. Passengers who use the intercity railway bus-based multi-payment ticketing system need to register on the official app of Guangzhou Metro in advance, use the intercity boarding code after passing the real-name verification, or use the real-name verification on the station equipment with their ID cards and other documents, and enter the station after using the physical ticket card and verifying their faces.
