On May 14, local time, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed an order appointing candidates for various positions in the presidential office, with Vaino remaining as the chief of staff of the Russian president and Peskov continuing to serve as the president's press secretary.
Putin appointed Koumyung as assistant to the president, while removing him from the post of governor of the Tula region, and Nikolai Patrushev, former secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation, was also appointed assistant to the president. Maxim Oleshkin, who previously served as assistant to the president, became deputy head of the presidential office.
On the night of May 14, Putin met with members of the new Russian government in the Kremlin, and Putin instructed the members of the government to fully form teams of ministries and agencies as soon as possible, urging the new government to take the implementation of various plans seriously.
Putin said that the new government faces a number of tasks, and in order to maintain Russia's long-term, sustainable and confident development, all departments must "maintain a unified queue" and act in concert.
Born on August 28, 1972 in a family of Kursk military doctors, Jiuming served as a member of President Putin's security team from 2000 to 2008, and became his personal adjutant after President Putin became Prime Minister of Russia, and later concurrently served as the leader of the Presidential Security Service, serving as Deputy Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation and Governor of the Tula Region of Russia.
Nikolai Patrushev, born in Leningrad in July 1951 with the rank of general, is an old friend and longtime ally of Putin.
