On April 9, 2024, the Yongping Street Minor Protection Workstation, together with the Yongping Street Customs Working Committee, the Yongping Street Social Work Station, and the Fenghuang Community Minor Protection Service Point, invited community lawyers to visit Fenghuang Primary School in Baiyun District, Guangzhou City, to carry out a series of activities to prevent juvenile delinquency by bringing the rule of law into the campus.
Before the start of the event, the Phoenix Neighborhood Committee donated 16 sets of books worth about 1,000 yuan to Phoenix Primary School; Liu Qingqin, principal of Fenghuang Primary School, presented a certificate of employment of off-campus counselors to lawyer Chen Shumei.
At the lecture, the lecturer combined real cases, explained the law with cases, and used easy-to-understand language to preach on the prevention of juvenile delinquency and opposition to campus bullying, which received positive responses from the students.
In the interactive session, the students spoke enthusiastically and expressed that they must abide by the law in their future studies and lives, enhance their awareness of prevention, and learn to use the weapon of the law to protect themselves.
This lecture further enhanced the students' concept of the rule of law and legal awareness, and guided the students to develop a good habit of knowing the law and abiding by the law, understanding the law and using the law. Plant the seeds of the rule of law in the hearts of students and enhance their sense of self-protection.
The person in charge of the Yongping Street Public Service Office said that it will further consolidate the effectiveness of publicity, expand the coverage of publicity, continue to promote the in-depth development of special activities to prevent juvenile delinquency, and escort the healthy physical and mental development of minors.
