In 2024, the district committee mentioned that it will promote the "two parallel developments" of the new track and the old track, and accelerate the construction of the "green energy valley" in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
Chini Town will take advantage of the momentum and take the initiative to accelerate the green transformation and development, plan to build a 10-square-kilometer Chini New Quality Productivity Industrial Park, and accelerate the implementation of green energy projects such as the "Carbon Neutral" New Village Training Institute, Fishery and Light Complementation, and Guangzhou Fifth Resources Thermal Power Plant, so as to create an efficient ecological and green industrial cluster and plant an ecological background for high-quality exhibitions.

Chini Town is the main battlefield and main position of Huadu's "Millions of Projects". Zhao Chaowen said that in 2024, the expected economic target of Chini Town will be the total agricultural output value of 3.05 billion yuan, and the total industrial output value above the designated size will increase by 13.9%.
