Qu Mengyuan:
Intimate care, so that patients feel more warmth
I am Qu Mengyuan, and I am currently the head nurse of the key department area of Qingdao Central (Oncology) Hospital, the head nurse of the Department of Radiation Physics, and the deputy chief nurse. In 2004, she joined the work and was successively awarded the honorary titles of "Excellent Nurse of Shandong Province", "Good Nurse of Shandong Province", "Most Beautiful Female Employee of Shandong Medical Union", "Good Nurse of Qingdao", "May Day Labor Medal of Qingdao City", "Model of Qingdao Times", "Health Ambassador of Qingdao City", "Outstanding Young Nurse of Qingdao City" and "Outstanding Red Cross Volunteer of Qingdao City". He has published 10 papers in core journals, compiled 7 monographs, and participated in two scientific research projects in Qingdao.
Over the past 20 years, I have been working for a variety of years and have been improving my professionalism and service to contribute to the health and well-being of my patients. In 2022, due to work needs, I became the head nurse of the key department area and the radiation physics department of the hospital. The change in position means that I will take on greater responsibilities not only for the care of patients in the department, but also for assisting in the nursing work of key departments such as the operating room, fever clinic, and blood purification center. Most of the cancer patients I am dealing with every day are often suffering from physical and psychological pain that ordinary people cannot experience. Through my professional nursing skills, I do a good job in the whole process of radiotherapy management of cancer patients, help more cancer patients to broaden the width of life, improve their quality of life, and do my best to provide them with the most intimate nursing services, so that they can feel more warmth. Lin Aijin:
Protecting life, always ready in the small carriage
I am Lin Aijin, and I am currently a staff member of the training department of Qingdao Emergency Center, and I joined the work in 1993. I have won the honorary titles of "Qingdao Excellent Specialist Nurse", "Qingdao Good Nurse" and "Shandong Good Nurse".
I have been working in emergency nursing for more than 30 years, and since 2012, I have been engaged in long-distance ambulance transfer nursing work, and nursing operations such as flushing pipes, intravenous medication, and sputum suction need to be completed in a small car at high speed. Up to now, I have completed 240 intensive care transport tasks with high quality, driving a distance of 220,000 kilometers, and the safe delivery rate of patients is 100%.
In 2018, the emergency center formed a team of flight nurses, and I actively signed up for helicopter medical training to become a flight nurse, and participated in the transport of more than 10 critically ill patients, making me the oldest nurse currently engaged in aviation medicine. Emergency care involves a wide range of fields, from basic first aid skills to advanced medical technology, all of which need to be constantly learned and updated.
Su Xia:
Intensive research and professionalism to solve the "pain points" of complications for patients
I am Su Xia, and I am currently a specialist nurse and deputy chief nurse of PICC outpatient intravenous therapy in Qilu Hospital of Shandong University (Qingdao), and the deputy chairman of the Infusion Committee of Qingdao Nursing Association. With excellent results, I have successively obtained professional technical certificates such as ultrasound-guided PICC catheterization and infusion port implantation from the Chinese Nursing Association. She has won the honorary titles of "The Most Beautiful Nurse in Qingdao", "Outstanding Specialist Nurse in Qingdao", and the third prize of the Qingdao Division of the 3rd Methodist Cup of the Municipal Nursing Association. In recent years, he has published 5 papers and won 2 national utility model patents.
At present, I am responsible for the hospital-wide ultrasound-guided PICC catheterization, upper arm infusion port implantation, and outpatient catheter maintenance. In-hospital intravenous treatment consultation and online platform WeChat consultation and Q&A; Extended service of nursing free clinic, and actively participated in the catheterization consultation of patients with difficult catheterization in hospitals around Qingdao. Years of clinical practice have given me rich experience in the field of vascular access nursing and experience in dealing with various incurable diseases.
In April 2021, the hospital opened the Internet + nursing service to provide home care services for patients in need, and I am honored to be one of them, mainly to carry out PICC dressing change and infusion port maintenance for cancer patients at home. At present, I have successfully completed more than 300 orders, solved the complications that patients may have such as puncture point infection, tube blockage, phlebitis, thrombosis or catheterization, and helped them to carry out long-term safety belt catheters and successfully carry out subsequent infusion therapy. As a senior intravenous nurse, I am proud to say that this work has been widely recognized and praised by patients and their families.
Li Zhen:
Do what you can to help patients regain their lives
My name is Li Zhen, and I am currently the head nurse and nurse in charge of the Fifth Department of Psychiatry (Children's Ward) of Qingdao Mental Health Center. He won the first prize twice in the Golden Idea Competition for Employee Transposition Experience held by the Qingdao Municipal Health Commission.
During my internship, I came to the Qingdao Mental Health Center, where I saw patients suffering from mental illness. In my opinion, mental illness is actually not terrible, and most mental illnesses can be clinically cured after systematic treatment. As soon as I graduated, I became a psychiatric nurse because I wanted to help patients regain their luster in life, just like my predecessors. After serving as the head nurse, I actively learned advanced management concepts and innovative management methods, and my innovative standardized "Dangerous Goods Inspection Process" has been promoted by the whole hospital and has been used to this day. From standardized to scientific, from simple nursing to professional psychological intervention, every step of the growth of my nursing team and I has condensed wisdom and sweat.
As a male nurse, one of our strengths is that we are relatively strong, and our addition has made the nurse team more diverse and filled the gap in the industry.
