On the afternoon of May 13, the roundtable meeting on promoting the quality and efficiency of foreign investment and foreign trade in the region and foreign investment and foreign trade enterprises in Bishan District was successfully held at the Yuhu Hotel in Chongqing, carrying out face-to-face communication and exchanges around promoting the high-quality development of foreign investment and foreign trade, and building a normalized communication platform between government and enterprises. Building a comprehensive hub for inland opening up is an important instruction and requirement made by General Secretary Xi Jinping to Chongqing, and it is also a major mission entrusted to Chongqing by the CPC Central Committee. In order to promote the quality and efficiency of foreign investment and foreign trade, further promote the stable scale and structure adjustment of foreign trade, and the expansion of foreign investment stock, Bishan District has established a roundtable system for foreign-funded and foreign trade enterprises, focusing on national and municipal policies and guidelines and the actual industrial development of Bishan District, focusing on the key hot issues that foreign-funded and foreign trade enterprises in the district are concerned about in stages, increasing factor guarantee and service supply, and continuously enhancing the confidence of enterprises in the development of Bishan District.
The roundtable was hosted by the Bishan District Government and co-organized by the Bishan District Commission of Commerce, the Management Committee of Bishan High-tech Zone and the Management Committee of the Service Industry Development Zone. In the first phase of the activity to promote the quality and efficiency of foreign investment and foreign trade in the whole region theme sharing meeting, the District Commission of Commerce introduced in detail the development of the open economy in Bishan District, Chongqing Dajiang Power Equipment Manufacturing Co., Ltd., Lander Technology Group Co., Ltd., Chongqing Pingchuang Semiconductor Research Institute Co., Ltd., Chongqing Jinguan Automobile Manufacturing Co., Ltd., Chongqing Qunce Yuhu Land Co., Ltd., Zhonghao Law Firm, Alibaba International Station and other 7 enterprises respectively discussed the "future road of foreign trade development", " How to overcome difficulties in the early stage of opening the international market", "Seek common development hand in hand with Bishan" and other contents were shared and exchanged.
In the second phase of the event, at the roundtable meeting of foreign-funded and foreign trade enterprises in Bishan District, the participants discussed the theme of "opening up and leading, working hand in hand, and integrating into the construction of the new land-sea corridor in the western region with high quality". The Municipal Commission of Commerce, the Logistics and Operation Organization Center of the Western Land-Sea New Corridor, the Municipal Council for the Promotion of International Trade, Xiyong Customs, and the Jiangjin Branch of the People's Bank of China successively introduced the relevant preferential policies for enterprises and the relevant measures to serve foreign-funded and foreign trade enterprises, and gave targeted answers to the questions raised by enterprises on how to effectively connect with overseas customers, resolve trade disputes, and become an AEO enterprise of the Customs. Representatives of participating enterprises said that this meeting focused on the development demands of enterprises and was full of dry goods, which conveyed a strong signal that the government fully supported the development of enterprises, and they were full of expectations for the future development of Zaibi.
