- MUSE Design Awards

The MUSE Design Award is an international design competition from the United States, known as the Oscars of design. It aims to recognise outstanding original design works from all over the world and inspire emerging outstanding designers, including products in the field, which are within the scope of the MUSE Design Award.
Compared with other comprehensive competitions, the Muse Design Award has some different features. For example, different annual MUSE Design Awards will provide different design themes. The theme for 2024 is Shaping Heritage, which is not just a legacy, but a product of passion and dedication.
And there are multiple seasons of Muse every year, and applicants can apply at different times. At present, the Muse Design Award has come to the S2 quarter.

Application period: Late registration period for 2024 is from May 31 to June 30

The selection criteria are aesthetics, originality, and practicality. There are three categories to choose from: Space/Architectural Design, Communication Design, and Product.
Because the website provides Chinese, it will be easier to apply than other events. The competition is open to anyone, even recent graduates.

Application period: Late registration period for 2024 is from May 31 to June 30
The iF Design Award is Germany's oldest industrial design award. Thousands of designers participate in this award every year.
However, the award rate is not very high. It is understood that the winning rate of its gold award is less than 1%.
For example, student A of Hanyi, because he took the social care track with a high degree of attention, designed an indoor blind road for the visually impaired, and its design content was simple and convenient enough, and few people noticed it, so the final work stood out and became one of the 76 winners of the 2023 iF Award.

- Chinese Habitat Environment Design Annual Award
Application period: 2024 to August 10
The "China Environmental Design Annual Award" was initiated by the Education Committee of the Interior Design Branch of the Architectural Society of China and 16 major design universities, and is a highly recognized design competition in mainland China.
The competition is mainly for domestic participants: including domestic college students, fresh graduates, graduate students in various domestic urban and rural planning, architecture, landscape architecture, environmental design and other related majors in Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan.
This year, the theme of the competition is "The Wisdom of Space", and participants should be able to solve space-related problems, achieve comfort in a small apartment, and improve efficiency and convenience in a highly dense city, while also being aesthetically pleasing to the competition.
