A few months ago, it was an overgrown green belt with only a few small trees. In just a few months, under the leadership of Hu Dongping, a flower grower in the community, the residents transplanted two or three hundred flowers and plants from their homes, and the shared garden "grew" out of thin air in the loving watering of one pot and one plant.
The "Shared Garden" of Zhongbei Jiayuan Community is located in front of Building 4 of Zhongbei Jiayuan Community, with an area of more than 300 square meters. The first to propose the construction of a shared garden was Hu Dongping, a resident of Unit 1 of Building 4 of Zhongbei Homeland, who is a flower grower with hundreds of pots of various bonsai flowers at home. Because there are too many flowers and there is nowhere to put them, and raising flowers attracts mosquitoes and occupies the road, etc., it has brought some trouble to the neighbors. He could only "endure the pain of love", kept raising flowers, and kept giving flower bonsai to relatives and friends.
Last year, when focusing on cleaning up and rectifying the dirty and messy problem in the community, Hu Dongping proposed that he could make a shared garden in the untended public green belt in the community and bare loess, which could not only meet the needs of flower lovers, but also beautify and green the community environment.
After the community party organization accepted Hu Dongping's opinions and suggestions, the community set up a volunteer service team of "flower cultivators" headed by Hu Dongping.
