The Beijing oil chicken bred here is the only local chicken breed preserved in the city, with tender meat and fragrant eggs and unique flavor. In addition to breeding oily chickens, rare edible mushrooms such as red matsutake mushrooms are also grown, and bamboo sunflower is being sown. The model of "understory farming" has helped nearly 400 people increase their income.
