Yesterday, the 3rd Yangtze River Delta International Emergency Disaster Reduction and Rescue Expo kicked off at the National Convention and Exhibition Center (Shanghai).
The expo has a total of 6 exhibition areas, including emergency disaster prevention and mitigation, comprehensive rescue equipment, safety protection products, safety emergency industry services, safety science popularization experience, and coordinated development of emergency management, with an exhibition area of about 60,000 square meters, and a total of more than 500 representative enterprises in the field of national safety and emergency response participated in the exhibition. Among them, more than 90% of the enterprises are technology-based enterprises and high-tech enterprises, distributed in key industries such as low-altitude economy, intelligent manufacturing, high-end emergency rescue equipment, artificial intelligence, and new industrialization.
Technology empowers emergency rescue
According to the statistics of the National Fire and Rescue Administration, in 2023, there will be a total of 2.138 million fire alarms of various types across the country, and the direct property loss will be as high as 6.15 billion yuan. Fire rescue missions are faced with pain points such as difficult to reach, high risk, long time, poor mobility, and difficult command, so it is urgent to upgrade firefighting equipment and build a smart emergency system.
In addition to carrying passengers, domestic civil aircraft can also play a role in emergency rescue through internal functional transformation. At the booth of Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China, which participated in the exhibition for the first time, the C919, ARJ21 and their derivatives models were highlighted. According to reports, the ARJ21 variant includes an emergency rescue command aircraft for disaster monitoring, command and coordination and emergency communication network construction, a fire extinguisher that can carry 10 tons of water, a medical aircraft containing two intensive care modules, as well as cargo aircraft, business jets, etc., demonstrating the determination and achievements of COMAC in the construction of emergency system.
With the development of drone technology, drones have also begun to show their skills in the field of emergency rescue.
The GQ-580 emergency rescue unmanned helicopter system exhibited by Nanjing Aerospace National Aircraft Intelligent Equipment Co., Ltd. has the characteristics of compact layout, large load capacity, long range and strong wind resistance, and is widely used in dual-use markets such as plateau inspection, aerial targets, communication relays, high-rise fire extinguishing, and material rescue and transportation.
There are many highlights of Shanghai elements
At the expo site, local enterprises and units in Shanghai demonstrated their achievements in emergency rescue and safety maintenance in recent years.
For example, Shanghai Tunnel Engineering Co., Ltd. has demonstrated its emergency rescue and maintenance support capabilities for infrastructure in the fields of underground engineering, transportation, and gas through achievements such as the "Emergency Rescue Digital Control Platform" and the "Automatic Splicing Robotic Arm for Tunnel Segments". Shanghai Gas has launched a high-precision intelligent gas leak detection vehicle, which uses fourth-generation laser technology and Beidou positioning to quickly identify the location and concentration of gas leakage, sensitively capture small leaks, and ensure the safety of household gas.
In the exhibition area of the Shanghai Fire and Rescue Corps, a number of virtual reality experience science popularization projects attracted many visitors to experience. The CPR MR (Mixed Reality) experience system at the booth can simulate CPR operations in scenarios such as car accidents, drowning, electric shocks, and traffic accidents. The Shanghai Red Cross exhibition area brought experience projects for first aid and trauma care for airway obstruction, and the cardiovascular, eye health and respiratory function detection cameras displayed at the booth of the Shanghai Federation of Trade Unions were also very popular.
It is reported that the expo is jointly sponsored by the emergency management departments (bureaus) of Shanghai, Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Anhui provinces and one city and the Shanghai Council for the Promotion of International Trade, and has received strong guidance and support from the Yangtze River Delta Regional Cooperation Office.
