Liangshui Korean Township is located in the southwest of Ji'an City, located at the southern foot of the Laoling branch of the Changbai Mountain system, on the bank of the Yalu River, the Korean people account for 31% of the total population of the township, and is an important border town along the border between China and North Korea.
As an important local border force, the police of the Liangshui Border Police Station and the Liangshui Border Checkpoint of the Jilin Tonghua Border Management Detachment are stationed here all year round. They joined hands with the masses and joined hearts to water the flowers of national unity.

During Mother's Day, the police also spent the "Folk Mother's Day" with the Korean people. Zhang Hetong, an instructor at the Liangshui border checkpoint, said that on festivals, the police will work with the Korean people to make traditional Korean food and carry out folk activities such as folk dances, springboards, and swings. Different from every year, on the eve of Mother's Day this year, Korean aunts also specially made Suzi soup to send "gifts" to the sons of police officers who are far away in their second hometown.
