Hamas is fighting more and more? Israel has encountered a hard bone, the United States: the Israeli army cannot destroy Hamas

author:Sister America

While fighting between Hamas, Jihad and the Israeli army continues, the situation in Gaza has taken on new uncertainties. There are at least 3 things worth noting.

First things first, Israel wants to eliminate Hamas? The United States reminded Netanyahu that Hamas cannot be eliminated. On May 13, CNN reported that the White House believes Israel has deployed enough troops around Rafah. In the next few days, the Israeli army will lay a full-scale siege on Rafah.

While Israel is emboldened, the United States believes that Israel is unlikely to achieve its goal of eliminating Hamas. U.S. Deputy Secretary of State Campbell said that the United States does not believe that Israel will be able to achieve a total victory.

Campbell is not the only one who has poured cold water on Israel, and Blinken also believes that Israel "cannot eliminate Hamas."

Blinken strongly condemned Israel when it attacked a refugee camp in Gaza, causing a large number of innocent casualties and leaving hundreds of thousands of Palestinians from their homes. Blinken argues that Israel's failure to defeat Hamas while inflicting innocent casualties is unsustainable.

The White House has sent at least three important signals, all of which are related to Hamas.

First, even if Israel besieged Rafah on a large scale, it would not be able to "eliminate all Hamas personnel in Rafah," and thousands of Hamas militants would still be able to take advantage of the chaos to flee Rafah.

Second, in northern Gaza and Khan Younis, Hamas forces have reappeared. This means that while Israel has dealt a heavy blow to Hamas in these places, there are still Hamas personnel who have survived, and there are not many of them.

Third, even if Israel expelled and eliminated most of Hamas's personnel, Gaza would be in a vacuum. When the time comes, there is a possibility that Hamas will make a comeback.

Israeli intelligence agencies believe that Sinwar may be hiding in a tunnel somewhere, but it is difficult to find it.

This brings to mind another thing. At the end of March, Israel revealed that almost 13,000 Hamas personnel had been killed, 10,000 seriously wounded, and more than 2,000 arrested. At the time, Israel believed that at least 26,000 Hamas had been hors de combat.

However, the reality is completely different, and Israel has found that Hamas is fighting more and more, and Hamas has more than 30,000 people.

It is not difficult to see that the reminder of the United States, Israel has long expected it, but Israel still insists on besieging Rafah.

The second thing, did Israel attack UN targets? Jordan couldn't bear it.

Jordan said on 13 May that it condemned the attack on a United Nations vehicle that injured a Jordanian citizen. Jordan believes that Israel should be held accountable for this matter.

UN Secretary-General António Guterres revealed that the vehicle of UN personnel was attacked when they were on their way to Rafah Hospital, killing one person and injuring another. Guterres condemned the incident and also called for a full investigation into the matter.

So far, however, Israel has not taken a position on this matter, nor has it said that it was responsible.

After Israel besieged Rafah, Egypt and Jordan, which had maintained close cooperation with Israel, also chose to condemn Israel.

At present, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Jordan, Egypt and other Arab countries do have a tendency to join forces against Israel, but the Arab League does not intend to send troops to Gaza.

The third thing, Turkey supports Hamas? On May 13, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that more than 1,000 Hamas members were being treated in Israel and that he would follow Hamas step by step from now on.

Prior to this, Erdogan had repeatedly condemned Israel and stressed that the United States and Europe had not taken action to promote a ceasefire in Gaza. Turkey believes that Israel's military action against Rafah is unacceptable and that Hamas and Israel should reach a ceasefire agreement.

In retaliation against Israel, Turkey has also imposed massive sanctions on Israel. Israel is outraged by this.

Of course, it is not difficult to condemn Israel together, but it is not easy to put aside differences and put pressure on Israel with concrete actions. One of the reasons why Israel is so emboldened is because of the support of the United States. In addition, the Arab world is indeed a fragmented mess, and it is difficult to unite. Moreover, Iran and Turkey will not really join forces to launch a military operation against Israel.

The Palestinian-Israeli conflict has killed more than 35,000 people, which is a human tragedy, and it is indeed too difficult for the Palestinians.
