And the last time I stayed at Grand Hyatt Jeju Island was more than half a year ago, and the trip was too hurried to take photos carefully, and I didn't write a separate report, so I just went to make up for it this time.
Grand Hyatt is well located in a recognizable landmark Twin Towers in the bustling central area of Jeju City.
Especially at night, as long as you are in the city of Jeju, you will see the Grand Hyatt Jeju Island as soon as you look up. She is the tallest and the brightest, like a colorful work of art against the backdrop of the night sky and lights.
Grand Hyatt Jeju opened during the pandemic and celebrated its 3rd anniversary last year, with all the facilities being brand new. With 1,600 rooms, it is the largest Grand Hyatt hotel in the Asia-Pacific region and the largest hotel on Jeju Island.
One of the significant advantages of the large hotel is that the supporting facilities are indeed very complete.
Grand Hyatt Jeju is located in Jeju Sky City, where you can enjoy entertainment, shopping, and dining.
There are three front desks where you can check in, and there is a large shopping mall, as well as 14 restaurants and bars, a spa, a children's fun center, and a Korean steam room...... It's just a Big Mac.
Plus, this Grand Hyatt is particularly Chinese friendly. Not only is there a Chinese logo everywhere, but there are always staff at the front desk who can speak Chinese, so you don't have to worry about language problems at all.
In addition, if you stay at the Grand Hyatt Jeju, you can enjoy a panoramic view of the city, the sea, and Halla Mountain.
This time, I stayed in the 130㎡ corner suite, and I could enjoy the 270-degree view of Jeju without dead ends, and you could clearly see the busy Jeju Airport planes taking off and landing from the lounge chair in the room.
The general room type of Grand Hyatt Jeju is 65 square meters, which is similar in size to the suites of other hotels, and the layout is uniform, the difference is the height of the floor and the orientation. Except for the diplomat suite (195 square meters) and the total suite (260 square meters), the other suites are all 130 square meters.

If you are a friend with a baby, the Grand Hyatt Jeju has a children's fun center for entertainment, but the children's fun center is basically an electric project.

The first to recommend the Grand Hyatt Chinese Restaurant on the third floor has a sense of déjà vu. and Beijing Grand Hyatt's Chang'an No. 1, Macau Grand Hyatt's Full House, and Qingdao Hyatt's Donghai 88 are simply carved out of the same mold.
The main dish is the same, Peking duck freshly roasted in the oven. We have identified the taste, and it is the same taste of Chang'an No. 1.
The chefs are all Chinese, the proportion of waiters who can speak Chinese is also high, and with the Chinese menu, there is no pressure to order food.
Next to the Chinese restaurant is the Jeju hot pot restaurant, which is a way to eat Sichuan seafood hot pot.
The seafood pot mainly depends on the ingredients, and it is very fresh, and the treasure fish from Jeju Island is super Q bomb in a few seconds.
If you want to eat local specialties, we recommend going to the Korean barbecue restaurant, which is also located on the 3rd floor, which specializes in Korean barbecue.
We ate black pork and Korean beef, as well as Jeju Island's local hairtail fish, and it tasted good. The service is also considerate, you don't have to bake it yourself, you only need to be responsible for eating.
Another Korean restaurant is Pocha on the 38th floor, which is known as the "skyline food stall" with a view of Jeju's skyline, and specializes in Korean street food.
We had breakfast here on the first day, and we recommend abalone rice and beef bone soup rice. In Jeju, you can eat a lot of abalone early in the morning.
If you don't want to eat set breakfast, you can choose the Yue Kitchen buffet restaurant on the 4th floor to eat buffet breakfast, the variety will be richer, but the characteristics are not as sufficient as the Pocha restaurant above.
Cafe 8 is a bright and transparent café with a great view, right next to the outdoor pool, where you can enjoy poolside snacks on the outdoor pool terrace, which has a great atmosphere.
The dishes and drinks were exquisitely cooked, the fried fish we ate that day was charred on the outside and tender on the inside, and the squid wrapped in mashed potatoes was also amazing.
The Lounge 38 on the 38th floor is perfect for a night to have a glass of wine and take a look at the city at night.
Lounge 38 also has afternoon tea, which was cherry blossom themed when we went. In addition to desserts, coffee and strawberry ice cream are also well served.
It's really a disadvantage here that I can't take pictures, and it's a beauty that can't be captured by a camera. Looking out the window is the runway of Jeju Airport by the sea, and it is quite interesting to sit and watch the planes take off and land repeatedly.
If you like to drink coffee, you can also order a cup of Jeju Sunrise Coffee at the lobby lounge, which is the same as "Single is Hell".
The coffee at the Jeju Grand Hyatt Lobby Lounge is cost-effective, only a pittling more expensive than the Internet celebrity cafes outside, but the taste and appearance are very good.

If there is a good price, this Grand Hyatt is worth rushing, and in general, the price-performance ratio is relatively high among Jeju Island hotels.
