This drill simulated the emergency evacuation and transfer of the elderly and weak groups in the event of fire and flood, emergency rescue and first aid measures. Before the drill began, the full-time firefighters gave a detailed explanation to the nursing home staff and the elderly about the rescue methods, escape routes and precautions for the elderly who are inconvenient and have poor physical strength in the event of fire and flooding.
With the ringing of the emergency bell at the simulated site, the emergency evacuation team organized the elderly trapped due to fire and flood conditions to safety in an orderly manner; The emergency rescue team demonstrated to the staff and the elderly how to use common fire-fighting equipment such as fire hydrants, fire blankets, fire extinguishers, gas masks, etc., how to quickly wear and fix life jackets and lifebuoys to each other, and how to find and use floating objects in emergencies. The medical rescue team made an emergency rescue demonstration for the characteristics of the elderly such as relatively brittle bones and poor cardiopulmonary function. The whole exercise process was orderly, and the rescue teams cooperated closely and connected in a timely manner, and the drill was a complete success.
