On the afternoon of May 13, the first stop of the series of activities of Guanhu Street Anti-drug Law Popularization into the Campus came to Guanlan No. 2 Middle School, which aimed to comprehensively promote the in-depth development of anti-drug publicity and education on campus, enhance the anti-drug awareness, rule of law awareness and self-protection ability of the majority of students, and effectively prevent and reduce illegal infringement of minors, with the participation of more than 300 junior high school students.
In the activity class, the anti-drug social workers popularized the basic anti-drug knowledge to the students present through PPT courseware and anti-drug propaganda videos, including the definition, types, characteristics and hazards of drugs, and highlighted that the State Food and Drug Administration, the Ministry of Public Security, and the National Health Commission decided to include dextromethorphan, diphenoxylate compound preparations, nalfuraphine, and lorcaserin in the list of Class II psychotropic drugs from July 1, 2024, calling on and guiding students to improve their awareness and ability to recognize, prevent and reject drugs in their daily lives.
After the class, the lawyers of the judicial institute used easy-to-understand language, combined with real cases and laws and regulations, to give detailed explanations on national security, anti-school bullying, and the law on the protection of unsuspects, teaching students to establish a correct world view, values, and outlook on life, so that everyone can learn, understand and abide by the law in a good way.
