Recently, in order to thoroughly implement the party's education policy, strengthen the labor education of middle school students, and cultivate students' labor consciousness and practical ability, Shangtu Middle School successfully carried out the annual labor education publicity week. The theme of this event is "Labor Lights Up Youth and Goes to a Better Future Together", which aims to let students deeply feel the value and charm of labor through a variety of practical experiences.
At the beginning of the event, the school held a short opening ceremony. The students lined up neatly, full of energy and enthusiasm. In his speech, President Su Sheng emphasized the importance of labor education, encouraged students to actively participate in labor practice, and cultivated the spirit of hard-working, unity and cooperation.
Subsequently, each class carried out various forms of labor practice activities. Some classes organized students to carry out campus greening and beautification, and students held tools to carefully clean up weeds, prune flowers and trees, and add a touch of greenery to the campus with their own hands. Some classes arrange for students to go to the Shishan Baicao Garden to carry out volunteer service and labor research activities. While removing weeds and picking up garbage, the students explored the herbs and gained new knowledge.
During the week-long event, the school also organized a series of creative labor skills competitions. Such as paper-cutting competitions, housekeeping competitions, etc., these activities not only test the students' hands-on ability, but also stimulate their love and creativity for labor.
