Zhengzhou post-00 Ren Ziqi is 21 years old this year, his mother is a medical worker, under the words and deeds of his mother, Ren Ziqi has had a "heroic dream" since he was a child, looking forward to the opportunity to "save the life and help the wounded, and act bravely". On March 8, 2022, Ren Ziqi joined the hematopoietic stem cell donor database during a blood donation. On January 5, 2024, Ren Ziqi received a call from the successful preliminary matching. He informed his parents as soon as possible, and his mother was also very supportive. Ren Ziqi said: "I only donated some hematopoietic stem cells, but I can exchange the hope of the patient's life, I am very happy, I feel that I have done a very right thing." ”
Tian Miao, 30, is the third female hematopoietic stem cell donor in Zhengzhou in 2024. On June 10, 2022, Tian Miao and her friends joined the hematopoietic stem cell donor database when they donated blood. On January 25, 2024, when Tian Miao received a call from the staff of the Municipal Red Cross Society, her first reaction was that she had encountered a "fraud". Later, under the careful explanation of the staff, Tian Miao realized that this may not be a fraud but really matched with a blood disease patient, she was surprised and very excited at the same time, and immediately informed her family and friends who entered the warehouse together. Tian Miao's family said that this was a good thing to save people, and Tian Miao's courage and kindness made them proud.
"Please don't give up hope for patients with blood diseases who have not been successfully matched, as long as we have enough volunteers, there are more possibilities to find matching hematopoietic stem cells for you." At the donation site, Tian Miao hopes that more people can understand and join in this cause, and can do their part to bring hope to more patients.
Wang Yongjie, 29, from Zhoukou, is an ordinary company employee who began to participate in unpaid blood donation when he was in college, and has donated more than 3,200 milliliters of blood so far. In May 2015, Wang Yongjie became a hematopoietic stem cell donation volunteer. Nine years have passed, and in February 2024, Wang Yongjie finally received a call from the Red Cross for a successful match. "It's not easy to get a successful match for so many years. There is nothing to hesitate, the patient needs me, I will do what I can", Wang Yongjie hopes that the patient can recover as soon as possible after receiving the transplant.
