In June 2019, Hong Kong experienced a "turmoil over the legislative amendments". Later, a group of Hong Kong colonists fled Hong Kong with BNO passports. From 2020 to 2022, a total of 180,000 people left Hong Kong, many of them to the United Kingdom.
In the white society, these yellow-skinned and white-hearted people generally do not have a good life, and after spending their savings, some can find a job with a much lower income than in Hong Kong, some have to beg to make a living, and some commit suicide in despair.
There are also smarter ones, once they find out that Britain is far from being as good as advertised, and they quietly return to Hong Kong.
Since January 31, 2021, China no longer recognizes the so-called BNO passport. In this way, a group of colonists were completely dumbfounded, and they went to Britain, and any legal declaration of "permanent departure from Hong Kong" meant that they had lost their citizenship of Hong Kong, China forever. In June 2022, when the HKSAR Government launched the second phase of the issuance of electronic consumption vouchers, about 80,000 Hong Kong people holding BNO passports withdrew their MPF or Provident Fund in advance on the grounds of applying for "permanent departure from Hong Kong", and were ultimately judged to be ineligible for the collection. The Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) government's refusal to recognise BNO passports has blocked the way for some people who fled the UK and Hong Kong.
For these colonists who do not return to Hong Kong, the UK does not recognise them as full British citizens, and they are legally halfway between refugees and short-term travel visa holders.
Many colonists have tried hard and even marched in the streets to protest, but they have not been able to obtain legal British citizenship from the British government. This means that when their stay in the UK expires, there is a possibility that if the colonists with BNO passports cannot prove that they have jobs and assets in the UK, the British government can send them to Rwanda in packs, and live with the black maize every day to discuss life in Africa, and fend for themselves.
Many colonists do not understand that the British are the worst of all colonialists - any British evacuation from the areas that were colonized in the past will inevitably plant hidden stakes and create clues to unrest in the local areas. For example, the partition of India and Pakistan around us, the wars and disputes of the past few decades have hindered the development of India and Pakistan. India's border dispute with the mainland was also caused by the British colonialists.

The so-called BNO passport is one such dark line. The colonists did not know that the BNO passport issued by the United Kingdom was not recognized internationally.
Hong Kong people with BNO passports think like this, this is the British citizenship given to me by my British father, and when I arrive in the UK, I can enjoy the same treatment as the white Aborigines of the United Kingdom. And the British natives looked at these Hong Kong visitors, and their hearts were very disdainful: Che, the descendants of slaves who were conquered by our ancestors still want to run to us and turn over and rob us of our jobs? It's too tender. This contradiction cannot be reconciled.
These colonists have never known the real situation of British society, they may have never been to the UK, they may have travelled in the UK for a short time, and at most they have gone to university in the UK. They have never been deeply involved in the real life of the British, and their minds are all the images of Britain instilled by others.
While some of the colonists repacked and embarked on the road back to Hong Kong, the remaining colonists were probably still a little disdainful. These stubborn colonists have misjudged themselves - on the British side, they judge that Britain lacks labor, and they will not survive if they are not able to meet the vacancy of labor, but they did not expect that the British white bosses would rather use illegal immigrants from the Middle East and Africa than yellow-skinned banana people; In Hong Kong, they judged that they belonged to the elite class of Hong Kong, and Hong Kong would stop functioning without them, so if they couldn't get along in the UK, they wouldn't have to worry about living a good life when they returned to Hong Kong.
Unexpectedly, Hong Kong has launched a Talent Scheme to provide preferential conditions to attract talents from all walks of life to develop in Hong Kong. According to Hong Kong government data, since the introduction of a series of policies for the entry of talents at the end of 2022, more than 120,000 talents have entered Hong Kong and settled in Hong Kong. According to the World Talent Report 2023 released by the International Institute for Management Development in Lausanne, Switzerland, Hong Kong ranks second in Asia in terms of talent competitiveness.
This means that even if there is no problem of China not recognizing BNO passports, these colonists who have fled Hong Kong will not be able to return at all. Ironically, after the Hong Kong destabilizing elements Chung Kim-wah and Wei Zhida fled to the UK, they still retained their Hong Kong identity cards and could still enjoy Hong Kong identity and benefits.
This is the result of leaving yourself a way back and not leaving a way out. Some of the destabilizing elements in Hong Kong have overseas life experience, and they know that the British reward them for food because they are in line with the British people's thinking about making trouble in Hong Kong, and once they flee Hong Kong, they will no longer be able to play the role of making trouble for the British, and the British will lose their economic resources as soon as they turn their backs. Therefore, these people are very "smart" to leave themselves with a back road for Hong Kong identity, even if they are arrested by the Hong Kong police for violating the "National Security Law" one day, they can still stay in Hong Kong after being released from prison, and they will not die of starvation on the streets of Britain or Rwanda.
It's just that the average colony suffers, and there is no brain circuit, and they are fooled into blindly opposing China and betraying Hong Kong, and in the end they end up being no one everywhere. Of course, there is no need to sympathize with these defeated colonists, who are no longer down, with a sense of superiority that mocks the Chinese. They think that even if they starve to death outside Hong Kong in this life, they can still be born as white British or black Rwanda in the next life, and they still feel nobler than Chinese, so let them go.
After the Hong Kong colonists fled, I suddenly thought of the "Ita Incident" in which the Soviet Union rebelled against a large number of herders on the border of Xinjiang on the mainland and encouraged them to flee to the barren Central Asian Republic of the Soviet Union around April 16, 1962.
At that time, in order to give disobedient us eye medicine, the big brother of the Soviet Union spread many rumors - in the Tacheng area of Xinjiang, they spread rumors such as "China and the Soviet Union are going to war", "China cannot defeat the Soviet Union", "Hotan has rioted", "The United States has already attacked Hotan", "India will start attacking in June"; In the Ili region, it was rumored that "China and the Soviet Union will fight on May 5, and if you want to leave, you must finish it before the 5th"; In the Kizilsu Autonomous Prefecture, it was rumored that "Kashgar will be transferred to the Soviet Union on May 15." All kinds of rumors caused psychological panic among the border people, and then gossip was everywhere, further aggravating the panic atmosphere.
The "Ita Incident" caused more than 60,000 people to illegally cross the border to the Soviet Union on a large scale, and more than 13,000 people were persuaded to return. Facts have proved that the 13,000 people who came back at that time and their descendants have enjoyed the dividends of national development, while the 60,000 people who went out have lost their Chinese nationality forever and can only eat and drink sand in Central Asia and become second-class citizens of other people.
Seeing the outcome of the 60,000 border residents who fled from the "Ita Incident", we can imagine what kind of outcome will happen to the colonists who fled Hong Kong after the "turmoil over the extradition bill".
