About us
Founded in March 2013 in Beijing, Chasing Light Animation adheres to the principle of "Chinese Team, Chinese Story, Chinese Audience", creating animated films with Chinese cultural characteristics and international standards. Since 2016, an animated film has been released every year, and eight works have been released: "Little Door God", "Tang Adventure", "Cat and Peach Blossom Spring", "White Snake: Origin", "New God List: Nezha Rebirth", "White Snake 2: Green Snake Robbery", "New God List: Yang Jian", "Chang'an Thirty Thousand Miles". The third part of the light-chasing animation "White Snake Series" "White Snake: Floating Life" will be released nationwide in August this year.
In 2024, Chasing Light will open the "Chasing Light Animation Academy", and launch the animation class in the first phase, empowering the industry from the aspects of animation teaching research and development, project cases, and teacher teaching, and cultivating outstanding animation talents. We are now recruiting students from all over the world, welcome to sign up!
Course start plan
Course duration: 8 months (June 24 ~ January 25)
Location: Light Chasing Animation (Beijing)
Tuition: 38,800 RMB (including free meals and shuttle)
Highlights of the light-chasing animation class
- Teach and guide by senior animators who chase the light in person
- Directly involved in film projects in the production of Light Chaser
- Qualified students will sign directly after graduation
- Allowance will be provided during the training period, and the trainees who are hired by Chaser will receive a full scholarship of 38,800 yuan
Tutoring for the main creator of chasing light
The main creators of light-chasing animation participate in curriculum development and front-line teaching, and they will bring their experience in the production of many animated films to teach, guide and tutor students.
Instructor team
Intensive teaching & light chasing training
Integrating animation general skills & light-chasing animation film production experience, it is divided into two stages: centralized teaching + practical training.
Intensive teaching period: Senior animation teachers polish the teaching content, teach the basic principles of animation, movements, performances and other knowledge points, and help students improve in teaching and practice.
Practical training period: During the training period, students will have the opportunity to directly participate in the film project in the production of light chasing, and get the opportunity to practice and grow in the project.

Qualifications:
1. Love animated films and devote yourself to the animation industry
2. College degree or above, major, no limit
3. Have a certain aesthetic foundation, master the basic ability of Maya, or be willing to learn the basic Maya courses by yourself before entering the school (recommended self-study courses are attached below)
4. Personal 3D animation works (if any), participate in the online Maya test (May 25 afternoon)
