[Home of Watches Brand News] Bvlgari has recently announced the opening of a new boutique in South Coast Plaza, a much-loved shopping destination. Spanning more than 5,000 square feet (approximately 465 square meters), the store celebrates the brand's Roman origins and rich heritage with a contemporary design philosophy. With signature luxury materials and contemporary Italian design, this boutique embodies the majesty and grandeur of the Eternal City. The new façade is inspired by the Bvlgari Tubogas collection and symbolizes the ancient craftsmanship that began in the 1940s.
For the first time, Bvlgari will present High Jewellery for the first time through the "Californian Journeys" capsule collection. Inspired by the stunning landscapes of California and the timeless grandeur of Rome, this exclusive collection includes fine jewelry and watches, jewelry and accessories. The debut High Jewellery collection will highlight the brand's signature designs, reflecting the warm hues of the West Coast sunset through fine gemstones such as spessartite garnet, rubellite, morganite and pink tourmaline. For the first time, the exclusive "Crystal Sparkle" leather goods collection will also feature the Fuji Crocodile Serpenti Forever bag with a pavé diamond Serpenti clasp. In addition, the South Coast Plaza boutique will showcase Bvlgari's most iconic core collection of jewellery and accessories, including the sculptural B.zero1, the sleek Serpenti and the sophisticated Divas' Dream.
The main entrance is made of ivory travertine, synonymous with Roman architecture, and is shaped in the same shape as the historic flagship entrance on Via Condotti. Inside, the Serpenti by Venini chandelier made of Murano glass takes center stage, celebrating the brand's unique aesthetic and the harmonious continuity between Bvlgari's Greco-Roman heritage and contemporary design. The interior is also made of red porphyry with an eight-pointed star, dating back to the opening of Sotirio Bulgari's first Bvlgari store in Rome in 1884.
The South Coast Plaza boutique has a dedicated watch salon dedicated to Bvlgari's timepieces. The salon offers a wide range of women's and men's watches, including the most popular High Jewellery watches and fine men's watches, including Serpenti Misteriosi, which is in exclusive preview here. Crafted in rose gold with black lacquer accents and set with spessartite garnets, this watch is powered by Piccolissimo, the smallest round mechanical movement on the market.
