Recently, the launching ceremony of the public welfare screening activity of "Healthy Qiaoxi Healthy Heart and Brain Millions of Disabilities" was held in the Municipal Cultural Square, with more than 300 people from 56 grassroots trade unions, 30 non-public enterprises and elderly representatives from seven streets in Qiaoxi District participating.
The event was jointly sponsored by the Qiaoxi District Health Commission, the Civil Affairs Bureau, the Federation of Trade Unions, and the Federation of Industry and Commerce, "Healthy Town, Healthy Weight" is the theme of the 36th Patriotic Health Month this year, in order to improve the health awareness of the whole people in our city, and to achieve early screening, early intervention and early treatment of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, the China Aging Development Foundation approved the establishment of the "Qiaoxi District 99 Sunset Special Fund" account.
At the event site, the social workers of the Huaai Sunshine Social Work Service Center of Zhangyuan Sister-in-law Group provided screening and testing for the general public, and the staff of relevant units took the lead in raising donations through Tencent's public welfare online platform, and all the funds raised will be used to carry out free arteriosclerosis screening for the elderly over 60 years old in Qiaoxi District. After the launching ceremony, the project implementation unit will carry screening equipment to carry out nationwide screening in government agencies, private enterprises and communities.
