In the Good Neighbor Center of Cultural Jiayuan Community of Changhai Road Street, a baking cake theme activity called Maixiang Series - "In the Name of Love, Salute to Mother" was carried out lively. Children and parents sit around and prepare to make cupcakes. The baker patiently explains the operation methods and precautions of each step, and guides the parent-child family to operate it hand in hand. The children carefully stirred the ingredients and learned the baking skills while enjoying the hands-on fun. In order to let the children understand Mother's Day and learn to care for and be grateful to their mothers, the Community Good Neighbor Center of Jingyu East Road, Changbai Xincun Street, carried out a Mother's Day theme activity of "DIY Twisting Tulip Making", and the children dedicated the twisted tulips made by themselves to their mothers to thank them for their nurturing grace.
At the event, Mr. Sun, who served as the keynote speaker, slowly introduced the theme through the interactive small questions, and the children were eager to try it, hoping to make a twisted tulip with their own hands to send blessings to their mothers. First, take 2 pink twisting rods, fold them in half and twist them together to turn the original 2 twisting rods into 4, and then twist the 4 twisting rods into a petal by cross-bending, and repeat this step to complete the six petals of the tulip. For green leaves, fold the two twist rods in half and cross them to make them slightly curved.
Under the guidance of the teacher, the tulips were born in the hands of the children, and everyone showed proud smiles. On the occasion of Mother's Day, the fourth good neighbor point of Dinghai Road Street joined hands with the Party and Mass Service Station of Yangshupu Station International Fashion Center to carry out a parent-child theme activity of "Children's Painting Mother's Love and Thanksgiving" on Mother's Day.
Fan Honghua, a good neighbor expert from the family education of Dinghai No. 4 Good Neighbor Point, as the lecturer of the activity, used the psychological skills and methods of "painting trees" to bring everyone into it. In the process of painting, parents and children can not only exercise their creativity and imagination, but also express their inner emotions and feelings by drawing trees. Everyone used their brushes to depict their deep love and gratitude to their mothers. Through the detailed interpretation of the paintings, the lecturer helps parents to have a deeper understanding of the inner world of teenagers and build a bridge of communication between parents and children.
In the subsequent parent-child game interactive session, the children turned into brave "navigators" and led parents to challenge various obstacles and successfully reach the end of the game. At the finish line, the children took out the carnations and handwritten greeting cards that had been prepared for them and gave them to the mothers.
