1. Manuscript scanning
By "document scanning", it means that your iPhone can be used as a computer with an external scanner, which can not only scan any document, but also edit it.
1. Scan a single page of the document
Many scenarios that need to use this function are paper documents, which need to be scanned and sent, and sometimes they need to be signed.
- Turn on Scan: Open the Notes app, move the cursor to the place where the document was inserted, tap the "Camera" icon below, and select "Scan Document" from the pop-up list.
- Scan the document: point the camera at the paper document, move the camera to adjust the frame, there will be a yellow frame on the screen, when the file is completely in the frame, the system will automatically complete the scanning, there will be a shutter sound reminder, you don't need to manually click the photo button, click the document in the lower left corner to view the effect, if it is correct, click Save to complete the scanning.
- Basic document editing: Now that you have inserted the document into the target location, you can also edit it now, click the inverted triangle to the right of the auto-generated name, you can quickly view, share, print, rename and other operations.
- Preview method selection: Click the list icon on the right to preview the scanned document in the form of a list.
- Scan effect selection: After clicking on the list, there is a "..." icon in the thumbnail above, click it to expand, there is a "filter" option here, it is to set the scanning effect for the scanned document, there are colors, grayscale, black and white, photos in several ways, according to the actual needs to choose.
- Quick View: Click the inverted triangle to the right of the document name, expand the list, and select Quick View to view and edit the one-page document individually.
- Add a shape pattern to the document: Click the pen icon on the page to enter the editing mode, where you can add annotations, add shapes, add signatures, etc., here is a trick, when you draw a circle by hand, hold it down and it will automatically generate a regular circle, the same is true for the five-pointed star and heart.
- Add a signature to a document: You can also add a signature to a document, select "Add Signature" on the edit page, write your signature by hand, and then you can put your signature anywhere in the document.
2. Multi-page document scanning
To scan a multi-page document, the operation is the same as a single-page scan, when scanning, you can aim at the paper document, do not exit after completing a page, continue to aim at the target, you can continue to scan, you need to end the scanning, directly click "Save" in the lower right corner, and the scanning result is shown in the figure below.
- Basic editing of multi-page documents: Click the inverted triangle on the right side of the name, you can edit, view and other operations, which is the same as single-page scanning, you can refer to it, what I want to say here is to change the display mode, there are three kinds, which are small, medium, and large.
- Select the multi-page document preview mode: Click the "List" icon on the right to view the multi-page document in book mode, and the thumbnail of the document is below the title, so you can quickly select the page to view.
- Preview mode change: Enter the "Quick View" mode, the thumbnail will be changed to the left, you need to click the "thumbnail" icon to open, and multiple pages can also be added and deleted later.
2. Text scanning
"Text scanning" is to quickly extract the text on the media such as pictures, outdoor advertisements, paper documents, etc., and turn it into editable text.
Open the "Memo", also click the "Camera" icon, and then select "Scan Text", aim at the target to extract text, during the scanning process, the text content in the framed frame will appear at the memo cursor in real time, and it will change with the movement of the frame, which is equivalent to a framing preview box, OK, click "Insert" to extract the text in the picture to the cursor.
In fact, not only in "Memo", but also in the entire operation of the iPhone, as long as there is a cursor, you can start the function of scanning and extracting text, which is quite convenient.
