Stock: Meryl Streep wins the honorary Palme d'Or at Cannes Returns to Cannes after 35 years
On May 3, 2024, the organizers of the 77th Cannes Film Festival officially announced that the 74-year-old American actor Meryl Streep (Meryl Streep) will be awarded the Cannes "Honorary Palme d'Or" award, in recognition of her outstanding achievements in the past 50 years in film.
She will be the guest of honour at the opening ceremony of the Festival de Cannes to receive the award. This is Aunt May's first appearance in Cannes after 35 years since she won the Cannes actress in 1989 with "Cry in the Dark".
