On May 11, the County Agriculture and Rural Bureau held an on-site observation meeting for the demonstration and exchange of new wheat varieties production experiments, and more than 200 seed dealers from all over the country participated in the on-site observation.
At the observation meeting, Professor Guo Tiancai, consultant of the National Wheat Expert Guidance Group, professor and doctoral supervisor of Henan Agricultural University, introduced the field performance of the new wheat variety Shengmaiyuan 789, and led everyone into the experimental wheat field to observe the new wheat variety on the spot.
Through on-site observation, comparison and analysis of the field growth of various wheat varieties, combined with the growth cycle, characteristics and characteristics of the varieties introduced by Professor Guo Tiancai, the participants had a comprehensive understanding and comparison of the disease resistance, insect resistance, lodging resistance, stable yield and high yield of each variety, and had a more intuitive understanding of each variety of wheat.

According to what I actually see, the overall growth of wheat in Linying this year is the best year in recent years, and there are still about 20 days before the wheat is ripe and harvested. The agricultural technicians in our county should do a good job in the management of the final wheat fields with the farmers and friends, and they must do a good job in providing technical guidance. Consolidate and develop the continuous improvement of our wheat growth, ensure that we can get another bumper harvest of Linying wheat this year, and contribute a generous gift to the 75th anniversary of the founding of New China. At the same time, this year is also the beginning of the country's implementation of large-scale grain and oil yield increase. As a large agricultural county and a large wheat producing county, I also hope that Linying can make a demonstration and model in terms of large-scale wheat yield improvement this year, so as to provide experience and model for the large-scale wheat yield improvement in our province.
