Of course, Lan Dai Lian is best known for the beautiful dark lines on its leaves, so there are still many meat friends (including me) who are raising it after 10 years on the market.

Speaking of which, this is the second time I've "held hands" with Lan Dailian! Why? That's because I had it 10 years ago. But I didn't know much about it at the time, but it just had its leaves in the "leaf cuttings set" that I started. Later, I slowly raised it to burst the pot and raise it into an old pile, but unfortunately it was not in good condition - it looked like the second picture above in the winter, so I pulled it out and threw it to a friend.

Here's the thing: the year before last, I happened to see a meat friend's blue lotus in the ultimate state, not only its leaves are all red, but also the dark lines on the leaf surface are also very clear, which immediately amazed me. Coincidentally, the old stump of the blue lotus that I gave away before lost a leaf, and then it took root and sprouted on its own! How do you say that? I guess we all need to give each other another chance! So I raised it in a terracotta pot, hoping that it would bring me some surprises this time, or I would say goodbye to the blue dailian breed forever!

Is Lan Dailian good for summer?
Although I haven't been able to raise the blue daisy in a good state before, I have somewhat figured out its habits, such as knowing that its succulent body is very solid and easy to nourish, and it is not difficult to survive the summer. However, we still have to pay attention to two points in the process of spending the summer, one is to pay attention to shade in extreme high temperature weather. It is true that our blue dailian is very leathery, but its leaves are not protected by thick frost, so it can only withstand general exposure. If you encounter extreme heat (above 38°C), you must shade, otherwise the leaves of the blue dailian will be sunburned, which will affect both its ornamental and its health.

The second is to strengthen ventilation and do not control water excessively. The purpose of this sentence may have been guessed by many meat friends! That's right, that is, Lan Dai Lian is also susceptible to bituminous coal disease in areas with high temperature and humidity, so we must put it in the best ventilated place during the summer, and at the same time, when its leaves are soft, it must be replenished in time (along the edge of the pot), otherwise the extremely weak Lan Dai Lian is more likely to be hit. Don't ask me how I know! My fleshy flesh is a deep victim of bituminous coal disease every summer!

Is Lan Dailian easy to get out of shape?
To be honest, Blue Dailian is not an easy fleshy to color, and that's the main reason I gave it away before. But now I have also summed up some ways to let Lan Dailian out of the state, first of all, in the case of a general maintenance environment, we should use a flower pot with good air permeability and a small diameter to raise it, such as terracotta pots and maifan stone pots (stoneware pots can be used directly in the hanging area).

Secondly, the proportion of soil particles must be high. For example, the northern region needs to reach about 6 percent, and the southern region cannot be less than 7 percent, so that Lan Dai Lian has the basis for coloring out the state. Besides, it's all up to time. To put it bluntly, Blue Dailian is a succulent that needs time to settle - when its stalk is completely lignified, it is the beginning of its good state, so we who like Lan Dailian must be more patient.
