Recently, an expert group composed of Jin Liping, chief scientist of the national potato industry technology system, Heilongjiang Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Yunnan Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Xuanwei Agricultural Technology Center and other relevant personnel went to Tiesuo Village, Dianwei Township, Jianshui County, to conduct on-site production testing of the "Winter Potato Green, High-quality and Efficient Demonstration Project" undertaken by the Honghe Academy of Agricultural Sciences, and to check the planting situation of the experimental demonstration site and conduct on-site guidance.
At present, it is the potato harvest season, and the villagers of Tiesuo Village are waving hoes in the field to dig potatoes, and one by one the plump-looking and evenly sized "golden beans" break through the soil, and are sorted, picked up and bagged according to strains. "How's the rain going this year? How much does it cost you to irrigate an acre of land? What about maturity this year? What is the market price ......". The expert group went into the field, inquired in detail about the planting situation, and investigated the growth, quality, soil moisture, and plant growth of potatoes on the spot.
At the scene, in accordance with the "Yunnan Province High-yield Creation and Production Measurement Measures" and the principles of scientific site selection, unified standards, and careful checks, the expert group conducted on-the-spot production testing of "Lishu No. 6" and "Cooperation 88" planted by Li Chengming and Yao Jianming, farmers in Tiesuo Village, through on-site measurement of sample area area, on-site excavation and harvesting, weighing, accounting and other links. The results show that the yield per mu of "Lishu No. 6" is 3141.31kg and the output value per mu is 5646.3 yuan, and the yield of "Cooperation 88" is 3235.39kg and the output value per mu is 5540.6 yuan.
At the same time, the expert group also went to the experimental demonstration planting site to conduct field investigations on the growth of many new varieties such as Longshu 28, Longshu 30, Longshu 32, Longshu 19, Longshu 31 and Longshu 29, and put forward relevant guidance on planting in combination with the actual situation.
Jin Liping, chief scientist of the national potato industry technology system, said that the characteristics of potato growth in Yunnan are different from those in the north, and potatoes can be grown all year round and harvested all year round. In this place, the potato harvest time is just in the small spring, and before the potatoes in the north are on the market in large quantities in the big spring, Jianshui has already been on the market. At the same time, it is also recommended that local researchers and extension personnel increase technical training for growers, especially pest control techniques, and teach them some methods to reduce the risk of potato growers, improve the level of scientific and technological seed management, and increase farmers' economic income.
In recent years, Dianwei Township has given full play to its resource advantages and ecological advantages, actively introduced new varieties of test demonstration, and promoted new technologies. At present, undertaken by the Honghe Prefecture Academy of Agricultural Sciences, in cooperation with the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Heilongjiang Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Yunnan Academy of Agricultural Sciences and other scientific research units, more than 200 new varieties of Maling potato are planted in Dianwei Tiesuo Village, which continues to empower the development and construction of the potato industry, effectively give full play to science and technology to help farmers increase income, and promote rural revitalization with the revitalization of the potato industry.
