In the 600 acres of municipal flue-cured tobacco planting demonstration site in Yanping Village, Zhan Zhongqian, a grower, is organizing more than 10 workers to manage and protect tobacco seedlings in the field, guiding workers to correctly fertilize tobacco seedlings to ensure stable production and income increase of tobacco leaves this year.
It is understood that Zhan Zhongqian is one of the large growers who have contracted 600 acres of municipal flue-cured tobacco planting demonstration sites in Yanping Village, and the main varieties of flue-cured tobacco planted are Guiyan 20 and Yunyan 87, which have the characteristics of high yield, high quality and disease resistance. The finished tobacco leaves have the advantages of golden color, large leaves, sufficient oil, rich aroma and mellow taste.
"This is the first year that we have come to Kuankuan to grow flue-cured tobacco, and the technicians from the tobacco station have been guided by the technicians of the tobacco station from soil cutting, ridge formation, mulching, and transplanting, which has also increased our confidence in planting. Judging from the current growth, the quality of flue-cured tobacco this year should be very good. Looking at the tobacco seedlings growing up in the tobacco field in the breeze, Zhan Zhongqian is full of confidence and expectation for this year's flue-cured tobacco harvest.
As far as the eye can see, ridges of green tobacco seedlings are swaying in the wind, full of life. During this period, the technicians of the county tobacco company went deep into the fields to accurately guide tobacco farmers to fertilize tobacco plants, control pests and diseases, and urge tobacco farmers to strengthen field management and protection, so that the "green leaves" in the field become "golden leaves".
"Our flue-cured tobacco planting this year is in accordance with the company's technical requirements, the full implementation of the" well cellar "planting, so that tobacco farmers can reduce work and costs, improve the survival rate, the current tobacco seedlings are growing very well, help flue-cured tobacco to thrive and grow effectively, next year we will continue to promote to tobacco farmers. In order to find ways to improve the quality of flue-cured tobacco, we also did a comparative experiment in Kuankuo this year, taking different planting and management methods, from transplanting to rooting and vigorous growth, tracking the whole process, finding ways to better prevent underground diseases, and promoting it to tobacco farmers, so as to promote the quality of flue-cured tobacco in the town.
