At the scene, Pu Huanhuan, president of the District Arbitration Commission, held a hearing to hear a labor contract dispute case. In this case, the applicant Cheng and the original company had a dispute over compensation and labor remuneration after the termination of the labor relationship. Cheng used to work as a driver in a company in Nanxiang Town, and the company terminated the labor relationship with him at the beginning of this year, and Cheng asked the company to pay him year-end bonuses, part of the performance salary, illegal termination compensation and other compensation. After the trial investigation, evidence cross-examination, debate and final statement, both parties are willing to mediate. As of now, the mediation plan has not been agreed, and the parties are still in mediation.

"The process of filing a case and filing a mediation hearing was much faster than I expected. Originally, I thought that I would go to the district to hold a trial, but after the opening of the Nanxiang Town Labor and Personnel Dispute Arbitration Circuit Court, I could hold a hearing nearby, which saved a lot of time. The applicant for the case, Cheng, said.

This move also attracted the heads of 10 enterprises in Nanxiang Town to come and observe. "It only takes 10 minutes to drive from the company to the arbitration circuit court, and by participating in case audits and discussions, we can intuitively see the focus of conflicts, further understand professional policies, and effectively solve the problems and difficulties encountered in the employment process." Ms. Zhang, the person in charge of a company who came to attend the trial, said.

In addition, the Nanxiang Town Labor and Personnel Dispute Arbitration Circuit Court introduced an online "cloud arbitration" system, which is the first arbitration circuit court in the region to adopt the "online + offline" mediation and arbitration mode, providing the masses with one-stop digital services such as online arbitration services, legal consultation, online mediation and guidance, so that the masses can enjoy convenient and efficient arbitration services at their doorsteps.

After the trial, Chen Zhongying, president of the Jiading District Labor and Personnel Dispute Arbitration Court, presided over the symposium to answer questions and solve doubts for the representatives of the enterprise. Representatives of enterprises said that the opening of the circuit court not only provided a more convenient and efficient way for workers but also employers to protect their rights, and this event also gave them a deeper understanding of the relevant laws.

It is reported that in 2023, the comprehensive mediation rate of labor and personnel disputes in Nanxiang Town will reach 72.1%, recovering labor remuneration and recovering economic losses of about 13.57 million yuan for the parties. In the next step, the Nanxiang Town Community Affairs Acceptance Service Center will continue to adhere to the innovative working mechanism, send legal services to enterprises, and regularly carry out characteristic work such as "benefiting enterprises and benefiting the people", so that both parties to labor relations can more intuitively and profoundly feel the importance and authority of labor laws and regulations and labor rights protection work, and improve the awareness of enterprises to standardize employment.
