At the event site, college student volunteers from Anhui National Defense Science and Technology Vocational College distributed promotional materials to the kindergarten children and residents at the scene; popularized the knowledge of disaster prevention and mitigation; Through the most common cases of fire prevention, earthquake prevention, and drowning prevention in daily life, college student volunteers vividly described and demonstrated the correct preventive measures or handling skills before or in disaster situations. Subsequently, the residents on site were asked to participate in the disaster prevention and mitigation related knowledge and escape skills competition; The quiz session enlivened the atmosphere and pushed the event to a climax.
This activity further improved the awareness of residents on the "5.12" National Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Day, and enhanced their awareness and prevention capabilities.
