As the first alarm sounded and the drill began, the teachers of each class immediately guided the children to avoid the indoor wall roots, corners or beds, tables and other relatively hard furniture and triangular shock-absorbing spaces to avoid danger, guide the children's bodies to bend, lower the center of gravity of the body, and do their best to protect their heads.

1. Don't hesitate to run or hide
An earthquake, from the time people feel the shaking to the time when the house begins to collapse, usually has a time interval of more than ten seconds. Experience has taught us that we should evacuate to the nearest place during an earthquake and evacuate to a safe place quickly after an earthquake.
2. Adopt the right posture
When avoiding earthquakes, try to lower the center of gravity of your body; When squatting or kneeling, try to curl up your body; Lie down face down and do not hold down your mouth and nose to facilitate breathing. Indoors, the places where triangular spaces can be formed after the collapse of a house are often relatively safe places for people to survive. For example, rooms with small space and supported objects in the building, such as kitchens and bathrooms; Under the table, under the bed, next to the furniture, and the corners of the load-bearing walls in the home; under the lectern and desk in the classroom; near the sturdy counters and interior pillars of the bookstore in the mall; under the row of chairs in the theater; near large equipment, etc.
4. Evacuate quickly after an earthquake
Damaged houses are the most dangerous places after an earthquake, and evacuate as soon as the shaking stops. If you are experiencing an earthquake at home, extinguish the open fire, turn off the gas, and cut off the power supply before evacuating to prevent a fire.
5. Be outside during an earthquake, away from buildings
If you are outdoors during an earthquake, stay away from buildings, trees, power poles, and other objects that may collapse, and squat down after finding an open spot, and wait with your head covered with your hands.
