"Mother blew out the oil lamp, but she couldn't extinguish the moon"

Author: Ma Xing

Mother blew out the oil lamp

I want to repel my father's tide with sleep

But Mother can't extinguish the moon in the sky

The silver moonlight is like a tide

It always comes in through windows and thresholds

Makes the mother's sleep shake

There is only a Category 12 typhoon on the Leizhou Peninsula

in order to blow out the round moon for his mother

There is only a Category 12 typhoon on the Leizhou Peninsula

to make my father's clogs crackle

Father's clogs are the boat of my mother's heart

It stopped at the bedside and the boat returned to port

The moon pulls up the tide no matter how big it is

Mother was not worried about her father's ship

The tide doesn't always swell in a mother's dreams, either

Since my father's boat was laid ashore on the shore

They don't care about the moon and the typhoon anymore

Even the stove and joy of the world

"Dreaming of Calling My Mother"

Author: Ma Xing

I want to call my mother, but I don't have my mother's number

I searched all over the world and asked everyone I knew

I searched all over the world

The mother suddenly appeared in the crowd that looked like a fleeing crowd

It's like being on a construction site for a water conservancy project

The crowd was pushed by the tide towards an abyss

The mother kept looking back, holding the number in her hand

The soldiers were in chaos, rolling up the dust that covered the sky and the sun

I chased after it desperately with my mobile phone in hand, but I walked into the classroom of the college entrance examination

A question that can be answered with eyes closed can clog up the brain

Seeing that the clock was approaching, the tide swept away the mother

I still can't remember my mother's number

I searched for thousands of villages and thousands of roads

Finally there is news of my mother

When I dial the number

But I was woken up by the sound of the bad news

I got up and wiped away my tears, thinking about my mother's illness

A few nightmarish days

We didn't have a phone then

Mother's body is shaken

The eldest brother ran to the town and shook the phone to my unit

so that the bell rings like a viper

Every time it sounds, my heart trembles

My God

Author: Ma Xing

Thirty years ago, I still had a mother

Ten years ago, I still had a father

I am a lotus with roots and a fish with sea

Now, I'm separated from my parents on either side, with a sea of tears in between

They became my gods

There are joys, sorrows, mistakes, and difficulties

I could only kneel before their graves, confess and pray

Parents, in the world

You are parents, give me a warm home

In the ancestral hall, you are my kneeling tablets

Let my every tear flow

It is both salty and sweet
