The blue spreads out on the bar, and the daylight is shimmering with the undulations of the brick surface. The wooden countertop makes the visitor feel at ease. The canvas is hung as the ceiling, projecting the film images of the old prosperity on both sides of the river.

When I was asked about faith, I said architecture, architecture is the mother of art, it connects the present and the past, the tangible and the intangible. – Richard Meyer

Surrounded by mountains and seas, the "blessed state", the Min River passes through the city, and it undertakes the prosperity of both sides of the river. Located on the central axis of the city, the Youth Square is located in a very different location, facing Yantai Mountain of the International Architecture Museum across the river, relying on Shanghang, the birthplace of the spirit of Fujian merchants, and connecting with the modern bustling city; On one side is the world, on the other side is history, and on the other side is contemporary. The liberation here is like a Wubang moored in the river of historical time, independent between the old and the new, the inside and the outside.

The beauty of the slow-toned city always has to be savored in order to discover its beautiful and aura soul. The charm of Fuzhou is not only hidden in the mountains, the sea and the city. Fuzhou, which has flourished overseas trade since the Tang Dynasty, became one of the first treaty ports to open to the outside world after the Opium War. The designer also injected the charm and imagery of the city into the design of the project.

It is hoped that the interior will grow out of the land just like the original building.

Walking slowly along the trail in the heart of the Minjiang River, the oil is green, and the sunshine is like broken silver on the river. In the gap, there is an old red brick building.

The building was formerly a century-old tea factory. The word "Shiwai" stands by the door, and the narrow arch peeks into the epitome of the years. In this trance, you can still smell the wisps of tea fragrance from the waves of the sea silk road, and walk through the corridor to the third floor to get the world outside the time axis. Accompanied by the waves of the river, the living space with tea culture as the core is quietly laid out, creating a world of relief.

The entrance wall lamp is faint, evoking people's nostalgia for the sea. The cabin made of old red tiles carries the memories of the ocean, and the wind rolls the veil and the mist rises on the sea. The front hall is a cultural and creative area, where people appreciate tea and watch art. The oriental tea couch at the stern of the boat incorporates the taste of "drinking the ark and the tea smoke is fragrant". Time and space are staggered, as if you can smell the sound of the riverside pier through thousands of years, clear and far, with the rhythm of the tea fragrance, immersed in it.

Interweaving the past and the present, he understands the background color of the city and continues with the story of the present.

Blue is the mood of the sea, and the sail is the shape of the wind. All worldly worries are put down here, and there is no need to carry a bag. Set sail and get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Under the sail, Western wine drifts from the ocean, and creative tea drinks are sympathetic to the rejuvenation of tea culture. Whether it is the romance on the other side of the ocean, or the oriental Zen, they blend the essence of life, art and humanity, and become a jade dew that heals the body and mind.

Interpretation, interpretation means to let go, and external meaning is self-reflection. The space conveys a simple and calm temperament, which makes people feel at ease. The weight of history lets us know where we came from and where we are going. It is the cornerstone of our hearts, and when we find it, we can build a spiritual dwelling place here.

The night is low, and the light of the paper lamp is soft and approaching, like a lighthouse on the sea, waiting for the family, gently pouring out their expectations and guiding the direction of home. In the future, the peace of mind will be accompanied by the smoke and fire into the stomach, and the taste and affection will be tasted layer by layer, reaching the heart.

The blinds at the dining table draw a picture of the surrounding scenery. One window and one scene change with different angles, which is full of fun. It's like the Fuzhou City Gallery, one window after another, waiting to be viewed quietly.

There is a window view that is even more wonderful, unfolding like a long scroll, with the green banyan trees at one end and the traffic on the bridge at the other. Nature and humanity, history and the present, inside and outside, complement each other in the tea room.

Look deeper, and climb the stairs through a quiet and elegant corridor around the corner. The loft is set up as a VIP box, and the retro table lamp brings solace. The floor of the original building, the work of local lacquer artist Shen Kelong, and the rustic sofa...... Elegant, quaint, tranquil, and heavy historical beauty meet in a back-to-basics attitude. The sea is bright and the moon is half a round of doors, and there is a small attic in a corner. Sitting and watching the canvas agitate with the wind, and the staggered planning under the night, there is the interest of "and the moonlight on credit in the Dongting, and the boat will buy wine and white clouds".

Respect the past and blend the present, and inhabit the soul
This is not to deduce a contrast between "new" and "ancient", but to seek a delicate balance, which is more in line with the different needs of modern people for living space. ——Kerry hill architects

Relying on the framework of the building itself, a new story is laid. With a sense of reverence for the ancient building, on the basis of respecting the value of the building itself, the original eaves and external features are retained, and the interior is reorganized to find a balance between the old and the new.

The red tiles that can only be seen in the south of Fujian are carefully cut after being collected from many parties. Then the inside is reborn, staggered with the mottled surface. The red tiles are affectionate, staggered and stacked one by one, like the rings of time, and like densely written poems on the whole wall, recording the past and writing the future, without beginning and without end.

Design to build a soul habitat. Since then, a cup of tea, a cup of wine, a table of food, and a period of time have all returned to their spiritual hometown here. The Wubang carries the nature and humanity of the city, and will deduce a new way of life over time.
