On the morning of May 10, the launching ceremony of the "double registration" of in-service party members in Dongcheng District to help the construction of a garden city was held in Longtan Zhonghu Park. Wan Kai, Secretary of the Party Committee and Director of the Organ Service Bureau of the Ministry of Commerce, Zhou Xuan, Secretary of the Party Committee and Director of the Organ Service Bureau of the State Forestry and Grassland Administration, Long Renqin, Member of the Party Committee and Deputy Director of the Service Center of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, Xue Xiaojing, Deputy Secretary of the Party Branch and Deputy Director of the Organ Service Bureau of the All-China Women's Federation, Gao Dawei, Secretary of the Party Group and Director of the Municipal Landscaping Bureau, and Huang Dan, Member of the Standing Committee of the Dongcheng District Party Committee and Director of the Organization Department, attended the event. Representatives of nine central and state organs and enterprises stationed in the region, including the troops stationed in the region, Qiushi Magazine, and the Chinese Society for People's Diplomacy, as well as representatives of some district-level departments, neighborhoods, communities, and residents, attended the meeting.
At the launching ceremony, the Ministry of Commerce, the Municipal Landscaping Bureau, and Jinbaoxin Social Security Card Technology Co., Ltd. spoke as representatives. In order to continue to deepen the effectiveness of the construction of the garden city and actively participate in the "double registration" activity of in-service party members, the party group of the Municipal Landscaping Bureau gave full play to its resource advantages and presented 13,670 monthly flowers to 7 communities including Zhongzhongli Community, Donghua Street, Dongcheng District, to promote the construction of the garden city and achieve practical results.
Five units, including the Ministry of Commerce and Yihai Kerry, gave full play to their organizational and resource advantages, and signed twinning and co-construction agreements with four communities, including Taijichang Community of Donghuamen Street and Longtan Street Banchang Community, to further explore a new path of party building and joint construction on the basis of green space and green plant co-cultivation, promote complementary advantages, mutual benefit and win-win results, and effectively build a new pattern of social governance of co-construction, co-governance and sharing.
The leaders at the meeting jointly unveiled the "Dongcheng District Garden City Co-construction Forest", marking that Dongcheng District and the units in the district have achieved new results in resource linkage and joint activities. The holding of this event is an important measure for Dongcheng District to thoroughly implement Xi Jinping's ecological civilization thought, and it is also a specific action to conscientiously implement the requirements of the Municipal Party Committee on the deployment of the construction of a garden city.
At present, helping the construction of the capital garden city has been included in one of the themes of the "double registration" theme service season of grassroots party organizations and in-service party members in Dongcheng District, and will continue to be carried out throughout the district. All neighborhoods and communities will combine the actual situation to widely organize the registration units and party members to carry out various activities such as voluntary tree planting and due diligence, garden city construction, etc., to jointly love and protect green, transform the concept of building a garden city in the capital into action consciousness, and strive to create a good atmosphere of "everyone strives to be a green messenger and ecological pioneer".
