In order to accurately do a good job in the recruitment of college students, consolidate the main position of campus recruitment and national defense education, and create a strong atmosphere of joining the army and serving the country. Recently, the People's Armed Forces Department of Xiuwen County went to Shizhen College of Guizhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine to carry out conscription propaganda activities on campus, attracting many young students to come for consultation.
At the event site, the conscription propagandists created an atmosphere of conscription by hanging banners, distributing conscription brochures, and answering questions on the spot, and publicized the "National Defense Law", "Conscription Work Regulations" and preferential policies for college students to the students, answered questions about physical examination standards, military camp life, service treatment, etc., so that students could further understand the requirements of conscription work and military life, and encouraged young students to integrate their personal pursuits into the country, actively sign up to join the army, and make contributions to the military camp.
"The results of this joint military-civilian recruitment campaign are very obvious, and there are more than 500 on-site consultants." Ren Zhongfa, a teacher at Shizhen College, said. "We will also set up a publicity column in the school to continue to answer students' questions."
This event kicked off the prelude to the conscription propaganda in Xiuwen County in the second half of 2024, effectively enhanced the pertinence and accuracy of the conscription propaganda work, and created a good atmosphere for the conscription propaganda work. In the next step, the Xiuwen County Conscription Office will continue to carry out conscription propaganda activities in schools, enterprises, and communities, so that young students can deeply understand that joining the army is the right and obligation of every citizen, and stimulate the enthusiasm of students to join the army and serve the motherland.
