On May 8, the first alloy wire was officially launched in the semi-finished product workshop of Zhongtian Iron and Steel Group (Huai'an) Steel Cord Factory No. 7.
This marks that the production process of the seventh plant from raw materials to finished products is fully connected.
Leaders of Zhongtian Iron and Steel Group and Huai'an Company attended the launching ceremony.
According to reports, the seventh plant mainly produces steel cord skeleton materials for passenger car tires and large-scale engineering tires.
Since the start of construction, the factory has only taken more than 8 months to achieve the smooth production of finished products.
It is expected that by the end of the year, all 12 production lines will be put into operation, and the production capacity of 280,000 tons of steel cord will be fully produced.
At present, the first steel cord factory, the seventh steel cord factory, and the second bead wire factory have been put into operation.
The sixth steel cord plant has completed the land leveling, and the third steel cord plant and the fifth steel cord factory are advancing as planned.
According to the data, the Zhongtian Huai'an high-quality steel cord project has a total investment of 20.2 billion yuan.
After reaching production, it is expected that the annual output will reach 1.6 million tons and achieve annual sales of more than 20 billion yuan.
