The prosperity of the town not only attracts the attention of tourists, but also brings tangible benefits to the villagers. Many villagers have opened small shops, restaurants, and bubble tea shops in the scenic area, realizing the transformation from "seeing the scenery" to "doing business". "Our scenic spot is now the county's hometown entrepreneurship and employment incubation base, has cultivated 15 business households, directly or indirectly led to the employment of 70 people, in the process of entrepreneurship we also provide business guidance, to ensure that the business households achieve sustainable development." Jian Xue's family was one of the hardest hit by the May 12, 2008 earthquake, when she was just 11 years old and witnessed the destruction of her home. After going through hardships, she unswervingly studied hard and finally got into the university of her choice. After graduating from university, she sought employment at a training institution in Xi'an, but last year she quit her job and returned home to take care of her mother due to her poor health. As her hometown got better and better, and the tourism industry was emerging, she saw new opportunities for the development of her hometown, so she decided to stay in her hometown and apply for a job as a docent at the Mingli Museum. With her own experience, she tells the touching story of her hometown's rise from the disaster, showing the style of a "new farmer" in the new era. "I am very happy to be a witness and participant in the development of my hometown, and through my explanation, I hope that more people can understand the history and changes of Xujiaping, understand the hardships and achievements of our post-disaster reconstruction, and understand our planning and vision for rural revitalization." Jian Xue said confidently.
