In order to help the community become a barrier-free community and allow the disabled to integrate and participate in all aspects of social life, on May 8, the New Era Civilization Practice Station of Wangchenggang Community, Wangcheng Street, carried out the policy publicity activity of "Promoting Love for the Disabled and Helping the Disabled and Advocating Inclusive People's Livelihood", volunteers explained to the residents the report of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and the policy on benefiting the disabled and helping the disabled, emphasizing that the report clearly requires the improvement of the social security system and care service system for the disabled. In this way, we will promote the all-round development of the cause of persons with disabilities. The volunteers of the practice station also publicized the implementation of employment policies for the disabled, increased residents' understanding of the rights and needs of the disabled, and promoted the employment of the disabled.
Wangcheng Sub-district has implemented precise rehabilitation services for the disabled, achieving a 100% coverage rate of rehabilitation services for disabled children and licensed disabled persons in need of rehabilitation. The community works closely with the village doctor to visit the disabled door-to-door to provide "tailor-made" services for the disabled and help them get out of the house. Effectively solve problems such as the lives of the disabled, and make love for the disabled and help the disabled "on the heart" of the disabled.
